I heard back from Folger Tech and they aren't supporting dual head yet, and since I haven't heard back from anyone here I had to take matters into my own hands and create a dual extruder carriage. Here's the result so far; I still have a few tweaks and need to finish assembly to test but I'm pretty happy with it so far. It works with the Folger Tech dual block, uses 4 bearings and I have eliminby betteron2wheels - Prusa i3 and variants

Hi all, I received my 2nd I3 from Folger Tech, this time I went with the 2020 version. I'm setting this one up for dual extruders. I printed the the one dual Z carriage I was able to find on Thingiverse but it won't work, the problem is that I am using a dual extruder block and the spacing for the nema 17s is not correct. The Thingiverse Z carriage is intended to use 2 individually assembleby betteron2wheels - Prusa i3 and variants

Greetings all, I received an Folger Prusa i3 Kit in April and finally got it up and running about a week ago. I'm in the process of dialing it in and am working on improved bridging and other areas where it's deficient in the test I found here - -. Some of my goals are to add a 2nd extruder, maybe scale it up a bit and start working with nylon. I'll be following this thread and leanring aby betteron2wheels - Prusa i3 and variants

I have been lurking for a while and though I would chime in, I didn’t find an introduction section like many forums have so I’ll start here. I have been using a 3D printer at a local makerspace and am starting to realize the possibilities that these things offer. I have decided on the MedelMax 2.0 as printer of choice, it seems to have the characteristics I'm looking for and can be expanded toby betteron2wheels - Reprappers
