NEVER solder wires going into terminal blocks as soldering them reduces the surface area of the wires that touch the contacts in the block. This can lead to high resistance in the only available points that current can flow through, causing heat at the terminal blocks and the risk of fire. I would highly suggest redoing any wiring on your printer has the tips soldered.by Mach - Prusa i3 and variants

I neither have a delta or use marlin so I cannot say. I Know that repetier firmware has auto bed leveling for delta, so i'm not quite sure why that is for marlin. It could be that the complex kinematics of deltas take up too much space on the controller board, or it causes the controller to slow down, but who knows.by Mach - Reprappers
The compiler is telling you that a " ) " is missing before the start of the function block. I looked at the code and did not see any missing parentheses, so it must have been accidentally deleted. Ctrl find through that file for that function and make sure that it has the parentheses before the semicolon.by Mach - Reprappers
Quotemarkag Got my kit in today. Everything seems to be in order. My boards don't look too bad, but I did have a question on the arduino board in the image. It seems like I might have a solder bridge, but it also looks like it might be intentional. Looking for some input there. I also noticed my hot end is not square relative to the extruder. Question is, should I care? How do I fix it? I'by Mach - Prusa i3 and variants

Quotekarimm Hi folks, Is it normal for the heated bed to take several minutes to reach the 90C temperature for printing with ABS? I feel something is wrong here. Any help would be appreciated. P.S. the hot end takes much less to reach 245C Thanks a million. It could be that your bed heating protocol is set to use PID instead of bang-bang. It could also bed that your bed max power is set lowerby Mach - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteForceFedDSM I just finished building my 2020 i3 and I am having an issue when trying to home Z. Everything I tested up to this point has worked great. Basically when I connect using pronterface and home the Z axis the motors hum and seem to have a hard time moving. Quotelemgandi I am unable to print from my Folgertech 2020 Prusa Mendel right now because not enough plastic is coming out of my (stock Folgertech) extruder. I'm printing in ABS at 240 degrees using Repetier Host from a linux box. This machine has printed fine in the past but I left it for a while to work on other things. The symptom appears to be skipped steps on the extruder motor. When I dby Mach - Prusa i3 and variants

QuoteUltiFix My cooling fan doesnt spin up at 50% (It does if I manually spart spinning it). Is there any way in the firmware to peg it at 100% 24/7? This is a print cooling fan - Not the extruder hetsink fan. No. If you want it to be at 100% all the time, set the both the min and max fan speed to 100% in your slicer.by Mach - Prusa i3 and variants

QuoteLancelotL Has anyone ever tried to run multiple FT2020s off the same computer to print the same thing? I would think it would be easy to do, but I'm not exactly sure how to do it. Is there a USB splitter that would make this possible? usb splitters do exist, but you would most likely run into issues with data being sent back to the computer from the printer. QuoteWilberMaker Found it. First miss informed by my daughter, I is a "Thermal Runaway" error not "Thermal Breakdown". Sorry about that. Got it to do it again while testing. Seems that I just mounted a new radial type cooling fan on the print head and after checking looks like the fan blows out at an angle. Not straight out of the opening like I was thinking. At the angle it is blowing directly oby Mach - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteWilberMaker I am getting a thermal breakdown error. Can someone tell me what that is? I am not sure if that is a decoupling error, or a min temp error. Not sure I have heard of any thermal errors with that name. What other info is given with the error?by Mach - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotespottedleaf Hi, still building my printer, but I'm not getting ANY axis movement, does anyone have suggestions?? QuotePlumguy Greetings! So after reading about 3D printing for quite some time, I bought a Folger Tech 2020 on Ebay and decided to start off printing with PLA.
