QuoteCyrilLucky you I'm still waiting for mine but the tracking number is going nowhere... (it still on a plane for Korea since April 28th)... When did you ordered yours? I ordered mine April 25, and received it in roughly two weeks, which is much faster than I expected. Hope you get yours soonby awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
So I got the BLTouch and installed it on my FT 2020. Everything seems to work well except one small detail: when I run the G29 for auto level (after a successful G28 auto home), the BLTouch goes into "alert" mode immediately and from there the Z axis only goes up for each of the 9 points. Has anyone else experienced this?by awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
So I've done a variety of updates/mods to my system over the the last week which I had queued up, such as the popular 8mm lead screw replacement, A4988 -> DRV8825, and stock extruder/hot-end -> Titan/E3Dv6. I also updated to Marlin 1.1.0-RC6, carefully going through the configuration file and correcting the settings for my setup. I also went through the PID autotune. I did not, however, cby awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants

These are quite cheap bearings and can wear out. Check whether the nozzle is blocked (partly in your case as some filament is getting through). This is a bit harder to see directly, but maybe you can drive sby awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants

Hello, wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and can offer a suggestion or 20. Have been printing on my 2020 for quite awhile, and been getting reasonably good prints. Now, suddenly, I'm not. Seems, despite not changing any settings from what has been working, I am now seriously underextruding. When I ask for 50mm, I'm getting 11mm. Thoughts?by awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotetherippa Quoteawmyhr That is a pretty awesome set up upgrades therippa! Could you point me to details on how to install/implement the auto-leveling? I saw a post way back where you linked to a thread/diagram in German, but that was not enough for me to follow. I'd really like to add this feature... First you need to get an aluminum build plate, and this sensor Then you need to build a circby awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants

Finally have reasonably good prints coming out of my 2020! FolgerTech PLA (at 188/70), 0.2 mm layerby awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
Hello, I've been wondering for awhile if there is any benefit to having both Min and Max endstops on all 3 axises of a Prusa i3 style printer? For example, can Marlin be configured to automatically determine print volume based on them?by awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
[email protected] Quotekn4ud Quoteejnelson while we're asking questions for the lead screw upgraders... anyone have a good US source? I feel like the folgertech ones are overpriced. Looks like openbuilds has them for 10$ but with no nut. I ordered 2 last night from banggood USA warehouse (so it said) with nuts and 400mm long for a little over $26 with shipping. I also got the 400mmby awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
So I finally got mine built, and have been trying to get a successful cube. Been wrestling with proper homing/positioning. Learned the M119 command, and saw that Y_MAX and Z_MAX are registering as triggered, even though nothing is plugged in. I had some spare end-stops, so I plugged those in, now the positions report as open. Any ideas why that might be? things seem to be working now. BTW, regarby awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
Was looking forward to putting this kit together w/my boy today, but alas it was not to be. I got M3 T-nuts instead of M4, meaning we couldn't even do the first step. Oh well, fired off an e-mail to support, hope to get the right parts soon...by awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
@mel0n: is there a guide for how you are using Octoprint with the Folger? Did you replace the Mega? @all: Hi, been lurking a few weeks; just got my kit today! Now my boy and I gotta put it together...by awmyhr - Prusa i3 and variants
