hello guys, does anyone know where I can get an updated firmware for Prusa i3 Migbot printer? thanksby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotekareem613 I just upgraded mine to a 24V power supply. I did the PID autotune and that looks all setup right. Here's my issue. The Z-Probe is permanently reporting triggered. The light is on no matter how far away it is from the bed. The label on it says it's good for 24V. Any ideas on what might be wrong? Is there something to adjust on the board or the in the firmware? Hi,did you solveby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteAx The way the board works is that the top pin (closest to the USB and 12-24v in) is signal, middle pin is 0v, bottom pin is +5v. So it looks like you have +5v and signal swapped, try flipping the plug 180 degrees Hi guys, sorry for so many questons, but I am thinking now that either my sensor is faulty or the software of the base I got MK base 1.4 so far I have tried the following combiby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteAx You've wired it incorrectly. Check http://reprap.org/wiki/Migbot_Prusa_i3 for the wiring. It sounds like you have the signal wire mixed up with +5v or GND OK, so I have double checked I have Black, Blue, Brown from top to buttom plugged into negative pole z- SN04-N2 sensor with following markig BK LOAD,NPN signal BU 0V-NC 300mA - BN 6-36V + So shall Iby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteAccidentalWisdom I received a solid answer on this outside the forum. The order of the SN04-N wires on the MKS Base v1.2 board from top to bottom should be Black, Blue, Brown. The sensor is wired in this way on my Migbot and the sensor is running correctly (though still working on getting the position right!). hello, did you find the answer to your question about QuoteAccidentalWisdom in what order should these black, blue and brown wires be in the Z-/+ slot from top to bottom? Please share your answer if you have it, as I have similar question. many thanks. Best regards, Taisiyaby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotegotswrv Are you storing the home position? With some versions of firmware you can do this at the machine. Other firmware a require you to put the z offset in and reflash the board. I measured so the extruder is 1-2 mm up the board. then press on lcd screen prepare and home all axis. but when i send file to print it seems to adjust z axis like 5 mm above the board, which doesn't make senceby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants
hi. i got one more issue. i level the extuder and z stop switch so that only a sheet of paper can go beweeen the extrude and the bed. snd all axis home and start printing. however, the printer starts printing about 5mm above the bed after adjusting the extuder up after bringin it home. do I miss some settings or did anyone had a similar issues? any suggestions will be highly appreciated and hby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants

Hi, guys I got a Migbot Large Bed printer that came without a proximity switch. I now thinking of buying and installing a proximity switch. The question I got is where to find or what is called the white 3 wire connector that connect the proximity switch to the MK Base? All the switches I saw on sale come without this connector. Many thanks. Cheers Taby Taisiya - Prusa i3 and variants

Hi does anyone know if I can order old [email protected] kits with two syringe extruders? I have contacted the destributor and they seem no longer offer kits below 1k$ as they did when it was open source project. I am really interested in investing in old 2syringe model for my experimental printing. or maybe an alternative reprap with 2 syringes if anyone could recommend please get in touch. Hello I am just wandering if anybody has tried the Discov3ry Paste extruder with Reprap printer? I am thinking of ordering one but would like to hear any reviews. Or maybe you could recommend me better alternatives for reprap to print with acrylyc adhessive 6000mpas. Many thanks. Best regards, Taisiyaby Taisiya - Paste Extrusion Working Group
