Just recently went through the same problem I interchanged some stepper drivers, as one of the motors was troubling me and all of a sudden my board stops working The light on the arduino is still on. But the red light on the ramps no longer comes up Any clue on what might be the issue?by owaisshaf - RAMPS Electronics
How do i achieve cold extrusion, i tightened the screws on my extruder and still no luck I also varied the potentiometer for the Y axis motor and it either whines or it skips steps with a lot of resisting noises. Also I have a new problem, which I don't know how I didn't notice till now. My Z axis motors started to act funny too, here is a video of the same : The left motor does not rotate uby owaisshaf - Prusa i3 and variants
I am having a similar problem too, my x and z move perfectly well, however my y refuses to move It does not make a whirring noise but more like a struggling noise to move. I tried adjusting my trimpot but either there is too much current which causes a m999 error orr the motor does not respond at all. Is it possible that I have spoilt my stepstick or my board in the process? How will i know ifby owaisshaf - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteAno Quoteowaisshaf 1) This seems odd. Normally it should be threaded a bit longer. You can however use some more washers on this side, if you have some. 2) It worked for me. The screw head must be on the upper side, because the heated bed will be mounted on top, so there is little space there. 3) What exactely do you mean by this, sry can't imagine the situation right now. I used washersby owaisshaf - Prusa i3 and variants
Thanks Okay so mine seeme pretty genuine, I managed to flash some marlin that works well according to one of the posts in the forum, however when i go to ponterface i get errors that read " echoD init fail Printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart. (Temperature is reset. Set it after restarting) " when i try to move in any direction. Another marlin config, didn't havby owaisshaf - Firmware - mainstream and related support
hey so i purchased a replikeo too and i'm having similar problems. Not able to figure out which marlin config to use. The ones that do compile, either have errors when i try to flash or flash, but my printer just makes really loud noises when i try to use ponterface. Right now i could really use some advice on how to go about this issue. I tried to use the replikeo marlin config, but that doesn'by owaisshaf - Firmware - mainstream and related support

1.I cant seem to get my nylon stop nut all the way to the washer/bearing in my extruder assembly. The Hobbed bolt isn't threaded all the way and the nut stops at the thread. 2. I'm using m3x14 mm screws for my heated bed mount. Its a little too long, is that okay? I've shown both possible variations in the image. Can i apply either one or none? 3. Lastly my X axis smooth rods, protrudes outby owaisshaf - Prusa i3 and variants
The smooth rods fit perfectly in place without the head bed mount. When the heat bed mount it on, there is a shift and one of the smooth rods always jumps up. Also, this wasn't the case before i used the zip ties on the bearings :/by owaisshaf - Prusa i3 and variants
