Tried the print, and the Z display stays at 0.13 during the whole print. It definitely is not adjusting since the print is good in some sections and bad in others. My start G-Code is : G28 ; home all axes G29; auto level G1 Z12 F5000 ; lift nozzle I tried adding M500 but it did not make a differenceby jvquix - General
Thanks PDBeal, I'll try it when I get home tonightby jvquix - General
Hi Everybody, I've been trying to figure out if my auto leveling is really working for the past couple of weeks and I haven't been successful. I have a RepRapGuru I3 with the BLTouch installed and everything seems to be working, the probe does its probing and I get fairly good prints. During the G29 command I can see the Z axis display is changing slightly at the various X,Y positions. Duriby jvquix - General
Just confirmed that my Reprapguru i3 does not support BL Touch and I should download latest version of Marlin and convert it to work with the printer. That is probably more than this newbie can handle right now. I wonder if anybody else has a Reprapguru I3 working with BL Touch?by jvquix - Prusa i3 and variants
Does your latest update support BL Touch. I don't see a "#define BL Touch". I have one connect and can get G28 & G30 commands to work, but G29 does not.by jvquix - Prusa i3 and variants
Thanks Robert_Cliff. Made the changes and It stays at X=0,Y=0 after G28. Now i'm trying to figure out why my BLTouch sensor doesn't stop my Z movement (continues and crashes the bed) after I use the G28.by jvquix - Reprappers
Hi, Can someone help me figure out why after G28 my home displayed axes go from X=0, Y=0 to X=100, Y=100. For testing I set my probe offsets to 0. I am in the process of trying to set up the BL Touch on my RepRapGuru I3 and had to update my Marlin. Previously after my G28 command the axes would display as X=0, Y=0. I've attached my config h. file as a word document, if there is an easier/moreby jvquix - Reprappers
I thought I had posted my reply but I must have sent it PM. No it is still slow heating up. Right now I'm Trying to set up my BL Touch and I'm having my share of challenges.by jvquix - Prusa i3 and variants
I am currently running REPRAP_GURU_MARLIN_V.2 |Arduino 1.84 and I have a BL Touch that I want to install. I was wondering if all I have to do is add the code for the BL Touch to my config h file. If so then would this work? /** * Z_MIN_PROBE_USES_Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_PIN * * Enable this option for a probe connected to the Z Min endstop pin. */ #define Z_MIN_PROBE_USES_Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_PIN #define Bby jvquix - Prusa i3 and variants
abcdan71, I have the same problem now. Is going back to the old version the only solution? I'm new to 3d printing (got my printer in Mar) and I haven't quite figured out how to make changes to the software so please excuse me if I ask Dumb questions. How do I reload the old version? I am currently running " REPRAP_GURU_MARLIN_V|Arduino 1.8.4. After reloading the old version do I have to dby jvquix - Prusa i3 and variants
