Quotearxidon Quotezarnold16 Can I use the printer without the glass while I wait to get glass cutter? I would just buy a cheap 8x10 picture frame from the dollar store and use the glass from that. 8" is enough to fit between the leveling screws and there's enough clearance for the extra 2" on either side of the bed. I've never gotten a super clean cut using glass cutters, maybe because I have shby zarnold16 - Prusa i3 and variants
QuoteRedneckGeek Quotezarnold16 quick question i accidently bought a piece of glass 9.5" x 9.5" for the heated bed. Is that too big or could I make it work? Glass is pretty easy to cut. They have the cutters at most craft stores and places like Home Depot for 5-10 bucks. Probably take you all of 30 seconds to cut it to 8x8. At that larger size it wont fit right between the bed adjusting boltby zarnold16 - Prusa i3 and variants

The difficulty will be attaching it to the heated bed. It's about 8.5" x 8.5" so the glass will stick the edge by half an inch in each direction. It will be hard to clip in place. Could you loop tape underneath it? Or make an attachment from aby zarnold16 - Prusa i3 and variants

I was wondering where I could find a BOM for this printer I didn't seem to see on on the website or the G-Drive? My printer will be arriving Saturday if USPS doesn't mess up and before I start building I wanted to make a checklist for the parts to see what I'm missing.by zarnold16 - Prusa i3 and variants
How long was everyone's handling time? And how long did the USPS shipping take? According to the USPS website for me they estimate 2 days by creating a fake package.by zarnold16 - Prusa i3 and variants
Quotezarnold16 Okay so I'm new to 3D printers. I ordered my printer yesterday and while im waiting im gonna read up on the build of the printer, but what kind of material should I use as my heated bed. I understand that there is a heating element but that isnt always flat, so you need to buy glass. Will a picture frame glass work or even a mirror? Or is there anything instead that will work? QuoteMakerFront Quotezarnold16 I am thinking about getting this kit in the next couple months, is this a good kit for beginners? I don't mind the building of the printer. Has anyone tried using ninja flex or the bronze fill from colorfab? Also should I think about upgrading anything as soon as I get it? The stock extruder will probably have issues with ninjaflex due to the gap between the extrudby zarnold16 - Prusa i3 and variants
