No matter what I do I can't get autolevel to work for me... changing z probe offset doesn't make a difference.. And I don't know why. If I set the z offset to -0.6 after I run G29 it should be -0.6mm lower than before right? But it isn't.by UltiFix - Prusa i3 and variants

Changing the Z probe offset has no effect on my bed leveling! So let's say I need to lower my hotend .6mm closer to the bed then what my capactive proximity sensor thinks is z homed to get good adhesion. Simple, change Z probe offset from extruder to -0.6 in configuration.h, then flash that firmware to the arduino mega. Simple right? After I finish flashing I run G29 to verify that it goes down 0by UltiFix - Prusa i3 and variants

Quotetjnamtiw That means that your telling your printer that your bed leveling probe is only 0.3 mm above the level of your nozzle. When it probes for zero and senses the bed, it will bring the Z axis down an additional 0.3 mm when it's ready to print. You have to adjust this number until the distance at that point is the thickness of card stock or about 0.1 mm. What are you seeing? You say iby UltiFix - Prusa i3 and variants

Quoteiamquestar QuoteUltiFix I am using autolevel as of saterday, do these look like a decen't upgrade set? I bought those, and they are working well, although I wish I had purchased extra nuts at the time (I have them in route now) so I could set them up with in an anti-backlash setup. Im experiencing warped corners on my abs print's, currently my bed is set at 100c and my extruder is at 245 or something. Im going to increase my bed to 140 and im sure it will have a hard time getting their. I have a enclousure (A big storage container that I just set over it) and im a bit worried that it will get to hot inside the container, will that damage the ramps or steppers? K, now my problem is after I do the autohome and z homes last and goes to the safezone in the middle x and y then think that is home! so it thinks around the middle of the print plate is 0 0! How do I fix that? Actually, this must be a REP host glitch. As the lcd display on my printer is showing the correct xyz coordinates.by UltiFix - Prusa i3 and variants
I'm trying to setup autoleveling... I have my sensor wired, mounted and checked that when the sensor isn't detecting the bed z min is open when it is detecting the bed z min is closed. Quotejhitesma QuoteUltiFix Im wondering why I need to move my X axis endstop to the left for auto level? I upgraded to therippas firmware and it works fine on the right. I'm going to upgrade to therippas firmware; I just need to move the endstop plug over one to the right, correct? I also need to make sure my x endstop is set to max in my host software. Did I miss anything? Thanks! -Samby UltiFix - Prusa i3 and variants

Quoteiamquestar Quotetjnamtiw Have you calibrated your extruder? It sounds like you are putting out too much material and it is oozing up around the nozzle.
