After some fiddling I think I've sussed it by playing with bed.g and much, much reading of docs and code. Will put up my bed.g with some notes later for someone to check for me!by matt.daubney - Fisher
Hello! After I run the bed compensation on my fisher beta, the head drags across the bed near the Y tower. I've just changed the springs which might be a contributing factor, but reading around I see some pointers to changing bed.g to help with this? The X and Z points seem to be quite good. How can I fix this? Thanks,by matt.daubney - Fisher
Hello! I'm mucking about a bit today trying to find the smallest layer height I can get a good print at. What would you expect the theoretical lowest to be? How fine have people gone? Thanks,by matt.daubney - Fisher
Even with Postage it appears to be cheaper in the uk...by matt.daubney - Fisher
I've been getting good results using XTC-3D for smoothing. It's a resin that you paint on that drys smoot. Quite frequently I find that 2 coats does really well. It doesn't chemically abrade the underlying material, but adds another layer on top, so you need to be aware when making mechanically making parts. Bit expensive though when you include postage and what not from the only reseller in theby matt.daubney - Fisher
Thanks for the pointers on the build guys! I'm eagerly awaiting the despatch of my fisher kitby matt.daubney - Fisher
