Check that the lower pulley is set vertically below the idler, about 1.5 - 2 mm away from the stepper motor. I would suspect that that the life of the acrylic rods could be somewhat lengthened by not tightening the screws fully home, just sufficiently so to retain a decent grip on the ball bearings along with a drop of oil. It is all rather academic at the moment as a wire has broken off the fan motor Does anybody know of a decent UK source of spare parts??? Rgds, Neil.by Neil Mudford - Fisher
Hi Dadiy, Thanks for the useful info for the future. Rgds, Neil.by Neil Mudford - Fisher
Hi Dadiy, Roughly as per the photo. The toothed belt top surplus prevented further movement up (as visible in the first photo). I used my callipers to measure the drop from the underside of the top brackets to the carriage top on the x-tower and used that to set the correct distance. According to the instructions, the nozzle should rest about 4mm above the bed. Mine doesn't as it stop on the bed and attempts to print from this position. How can I adjust the nozzle height? Rgrds, Neil.by Neil Mudford - Fisher

I have a newish Fisher-Delta 3D printer which DWC is saying has ver 1.11 firmware but the SD image file says is 1.09c (Bundle 1_171015) Secondly, does anybody know where to download the latest duet firmware & DWC versions from Thirdly, is there a 'how to do it' out there on getting the latest versions installed on the printer? One of my carriages won't move the microswitch lever sufficiently. The gap between the steel rod and the Perspex cover is a good 0.5mm wider than the other two. I'm talking to the supplier about this and will let you know the outcome. As you can see, it travels further up than it should. Rgds Neil.by Neil Mudford - Fisher
