Hi, Thanks for the update, it sounds as though your setting up your slicer to do the same as I do manually. At least it works. I was thinking of upgrading the PSU myself but then there is the question as to weather the board can take the power? I'm sort of happy with the way it works now but hopefully emaker will read this and do something about it to save other users the annoyance of sorting thiby Steve906 - Fisher
Hi, I would check your micro switch operating positions, there are always going to be small differences between builds and this has to be compensated for in configuration settings, this however sounds rather a big difference and I would imagine some mechanical problem. Changing the settings as dc42 suggests is not as difficult as it sounds and you will need to become aware of the settings availaby Steve906 - Fisher
Hi, My new power supply that came with heated bed kit trips too. I have not contacted eMaker about the problem but it sounds just the same. I control the heaters manually and found that if I enable the bed and the nozzle heater it will sometimes be ok, but if I try to home at the same time it trips. I have adjusted my workflow to get around the problem. Firstly I enable the bed at 60 and clean iby Steve906 - Fisher
Hi As said in good advice above after doing bed calibration run M665 and M666 with no parameters then feed these readings back into config.g on the settings tab, not forgetting to click the tick at the bottom of the web interface to save the changes and then do a software reset. Re-home and calibrate again. I had no problems on clean BuildTak with the supplied white PLA ('filament print' brandedby Steve906 - Fisher
Hi My extruder is the internal type that came with the kit, when assembling I wanted to do everything by the book to start but thought the inlet path to the hobbed gear was just too tight a bend and kept catching when trying to insert filament. I modified the extruder block to take the inlet tube straight inline with the outlet and brought it out the top with a bend the other way as in this skeby Steve906 - Fisher
