The idler bearing and hobbed gear shaft in extruder drive has to apply enough force that prevents slipping of filament during retraction and extrusion. Acrylic parts need careful attention. I broke the middle effector plate twice where the hexa head bolts seat. Alignment the base plate and side panel Square wiring access port on the base plate must be right below the extruder motor's wiring harness terminal. @LarsK The effector shape is familiar to a cheap Kossel Kit from China. It has design flaw that creates lifting of diagonal rods when the effector moves to the edge. I spent hours to fix it with another builder who bought the Kossel kit. Replacement of six diagonal rods, installation of springs didn't solve the problem.by janpenguin - Delta Machines

Counter weight is easiest way to reduce inertia of the Hotend. I saw one Deltabot 3D Printer that was using counter weight on the net. Newton's three laws of motion fails in rotational body. Fast rotating body creates weight reduction effect around it. Eric Laithwaite's famous Chrimas lecture had some experiments. That was career killer to Eric Laithwaite as a promising scientist. Increasing length of diagonal rod reduces printing size. Decreasing length of diagonal rod increases printing size. New_diagonal_rod = measured_length / target_length * old_diagonal_rod For example, you print a 50.00 mm x 10.00 mm x 10. 00 mm cube. Quote1st iteration Measured length of the cube is 49.80 mm in X when diagonal rod is 203.00 mm. New_diagonal_rod = 49.80 / 50.00 * 203.00 = 202.19by janpenguin - Reprappers

Hi, Over four months of running Kossel Mini, it destroyed two Push fits.
