Have you made any progress with this? I'd be keen to give it a shot too? Is it viable to still use the FFD screen after the move? I guess - there's no real need once you have octo on hand.by richfort - General

Hey folks, We're having a Maker Meetup in Wellington next Wednesday(24th). While the topics of the meetup are usually quite diverse, this coming meetup will be specifically about 3d printing. We have a representative for the UP printer coming in to do some demos. Usually I run from such proprietary stuff, but I think it's quite important for us as 3d printer owners/enthusiasts to expose ourselvby richfort - New Zealand RepRap User Group

Hi there, I'm having issues when i try to save my blend file as an STL. The file originated from an VG image that I extruded. From what I can see it doesn't contain enough points to create a real model. Note that the model here : Model has only one layer of vertices and the rest (the extruded parts) are present. I suspect the basic extrude in Blender doesn't give the structure that an STL requby richfort - RepRap Host
