haven't been here for a while . . do we have a set date and time yet?by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
I guess, my advice is that if its not too much trouble, find a local "reprap group/guy" and seeif you can get a demo print . . see what he uses and judge from there. . You can get tips and a whole heap of knowledge for beginners with actually seeing and experiencing the whole molten plastic machine (3d printer) lol . If you are in the christchurch area.. Id be willing to give you a demo. .jusby Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
I have abandoned the project as it was too expensive to produce for my limited funds . .but, one avenue to look at would be silicone heated pads if you're real keen on a bigger HB build area. Silicone pads I havent tried them myself. If you do, please post back. .by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
yes, indeed...thanks for pointing it out @ waitaki...hows your printer going BTW? here is a link if you have not already read setting the trimpots:by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
Hmmmm...no one? guess Im on my own..... upon my quest of knowledge and some insight on how to use the BBB, which i was not surprized to find, was a cape which would be fitting. well, more research i guess....by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
accurate, as in if you tell your printer to go 100mm. does it fall short or it overshoots your target? missed steps? if you live nearby maybe we could check out your rig...by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
I have come across this wee, wonderful board called the Beagle Bone Black (BBB).. its a nifty little board packed with a AM3359 1GHz ARMĀ® Cortex-A8, prized at $45 USD (57.77NZD on the current forex). like the arduino boards, which have shields, this nifty little board has what they call capes. A lot of cool projects for the DIY -ers, hackers..etc. ect. I am very new to the dev side of theby Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
I use these nema17 motors, and it works like a charm, either on sanguinololu 1.3a, ramps 1.3 and 1.4 or the smoothieboard.by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
I just updated the marlin firmware on ramps1.4 with g3d lcd shield. . As you said hats of to the smoothie firmware team, and to arthur who introduced the board . . . . I just need to get my head around on how to use the SB on a laser cutter now, a bit of a side project .by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group

Metz kamusta na ang reprap build mo?by Alizier21 - Philippines RepRap User Group
Why not try to make the kits locally . . .it would be more cost efficent that way . .all the raw material is available sa pinas. . .just some means to make it happen . .i know some guys in the local 3d printing scene are starting to build their repraps pinoy style . .contakin mo sila . .they will point you in the right direction . .by Alizier21 - Philippines RepRap User Group
Kagit ano reprap build mo . .pede mo gamitin kahit ano electronics na available. Tingnan mo lang kung ano mga options ang gusto mo . . Kung gusto mo gumamit ng ramps . .sa tingin ko di ka na sasablay dun . .pero kung gusto mp simple lang at will work for you . .tingnan mo din sanguinololu . . Sa supplier sa pinas . .tingin ka sa sulit . .kung ala ka talaga makita na may customer support. . .by Alizier21 - Philippines RepRap User Group
Yup, took me about a day to figure that out . .hehehehehe . .i use 230400 on my baudrate . .it connects but havent really tested it on a working printer . .by Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group

Tested sanguinololu 1.3a - okay Tested ramps 1.4 marlin firmware (atmega1280) - all good Ramps 1.4 marlin firmware (same setting as on theby Alizier21 - New Zealand RepRap User Group
Okay nga printer mo . .parang replicator ang dating . .madami nabibilan ng arduino na mura online. . .
.hehehehe . .by Alizier21 - Philippines RepRap User Group
Nice prints . .3mm filament gamit mo? Printing in pla or abs? Great job on the printer too . .by Alizier21 - Philippines RepRap User Group
One more point to consider on your design is vibration, as the machine will be moving constantly . .mas prone ang all metal printer sa ingay due to low level vibration galing sa mga stepper motors . .
