i also have a folger tech prusa i3 and i got the same problem, i hear a "tick" sound at the same rate those ripples form in your photos.
the problem was too many steps/mm. try to change it from the LCD, or in the marlin firmware.
good luck.

i think you have to connect the fan to the D9 pins in the ramps.

i had that problem and it was the tension of the Y axis belt, give it a look

you need to zero your Z axis again, try moving the axis manually until you have the desired distance between the extruder and the bed, and then do a G92 Z0. and try to pint again

When posting questions, please include at least machine type and firmware.
This behavior can occur when you have a normally-closed endstop that is not properly connected, so the machine thinks the endstop is always triggered. Some machines are configured to move to the endstop quickly, back off a little, and then hit the endstop again more slowly to get a more precise position.

Hi everyone,
i'm new in the 3D printing world and after 2 days of reading stuff i can`t find a solution to my problem.
i'm trying to calibrate my las axis Y, but when i try to home it, it takes a couple of second in begin to move and it moves 10mm aprox.
i've tried to invert the endstop, invert the motor but nothing seems to work.
Saludos
