Sorry, did I somehow say that triggered endstops are given when the nozzle is in the centre of the bed? I mean technically yes the nozzle is azimuthally parallel and directly above the centre of the bed after homing, but it's misleading to say 'middle of the bed' as that seems to imply the hotend is at z = 0/in superficial contact with the bed? This is not the case when the x/y/z max endstops areby Gunnir - Firmware - Marlin
Hey guys, Having some trouble setting up the auto bed levelling feature with a delta and an inductive proximity probe. Homing with G28 works fine, and the hotend moves towards x/y/z max endstops and successfully homes. When subsequently running G29 however, nothing happens. As in, no movement, no errors: nothing. Hey again guys, After much playing around I seemed to have solved it. This took me a good few hours, and to hopefully prevent anyone else losing the same time: I thought I should upload my new *functioning* configuration file and explain the changes to the original. So, here's the fix: First, all the if DISABLED(ENDSTOPPULLUPS) were commented out, so I enabled them. Second, set INVERT_X/Y/Z_DIby Gunnir - Firmware - Marlin
Hey Everyone. I recently inherited a Kossel Mini running some heavily outdated firmware. I decided to update it inline with the current 1.1.8 Marlin build, however, since the update the printer now homes in the opposite direction - directly for the print bed, instead of up towards the endstops. I initially suspected bad wiring of the endstops or incorrect logic in the configuration file: howeverby Gunnir - Firmware - Marlin
