The BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo board works with an ILI9341 (320x240) TFT graphic display board with an SPI interface. However it does not work with an ILI9488 (480x320) TFT display board. Both boards use exactly the same SPI connections. Yet one works and the other does not. I have attached a copy of the Configuration.h file I am using. This problem has been in Marlin 2.0 forever and is still in the latesby BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks for the suggestion. However, M851 does not display the insets, just the Z probe offset. M503 does not show the Corner Leveling Insets nor the calculated positions that are used.by BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
The documentation for the SKR 1.3 tells you to set the serial ports as follows; /** * Select the serial port on the board to use for communication with the host. * This allows the connection of wireless adapters (for instance) to non-default port pins. * Serial port -1 is the USB emulated serial port, if available. * Note: The first serial port (-1 or 0) will always be used by the Arduino boby BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
I have a Two Trees Sapphire Plus printer. The print bed is 310x310mm with a printable area of 300x300mm. The printable area is centered on the print bed. The physical endstops leave the print head at (0, 300). I have added a probe to the print head. The probe is inline with the nozzle on the X axis and sits 45mm in front of the nozzle (Y axis). The NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET is defined as {0, -45, 0}by BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
I was able to compile Marlin 2.x using Arduino 1.8.13 running on a Raspberry Pi 4B with 4MB of DRAM. The Arduino IDE installed by apt-get was totally out of date. Download the IDE from the Arduino website, unpack it and run the install.sh to install. Looks, feels and works just like Arduino for Windows, without the Windows problems.by BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
Dust, I got it to compile using PlatformIO. Now on to the real work. I am trying to implement Marlin 2.0x on a DaVinci 1.0. .by BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks again Dust. I have tried PlatformIO for Longan Nano. I like Arduino better (easier to use). But If I want to do this then I guess I will have to bite the bullet.by BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
Thanks Dust, I missed that. Modified configuration.h to add MOTHERBOARD; // Choose the name from boards.h that matches your setup #ifndef MOTHERBOARD // #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMPS4DUE_EFB #endif Now I get the following error; Couldn't deeply cache core build: Rel: Running normal build of the core... arm-none-eabi-gcc: error: CreateProcess: No suchby BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
I have modified and successfully compiled Marlin 1.9 for two other 3D printers. I am trying to compile Marlin 2.0.7.2 using Arduino 1.8.13. I have selected; Board: Arduino DUE (Native USB Port) and modified configuration.h for; // Choose the name from boards.h that matches your setup #ifndef MOTHERBOARD // #define MOTHERBOARD BOARD_RAMPS_14_EFB #define BOARD_RAMPS4DUE_EFB #endif No otherby BigJ - Firmware - Marlin
