Well I do sound like a cry baby after I re read my post. LOL I DO have it set to static and it still doesnt boot up. I just commented out the M552 command and it didnt work either. I still have no control over the mainboard. Paneldue just says connecting? Is there anyway to access the mainboard and see if it is flashed correctly? I followed the instructions on and I disconnected power aby DRTak - Delta Machines
Im about to stop 3D printing forever. I was happily printing on my Delta (Kossel Mini). Then I got the bright idea to upgrade the firmware from 1.18.1 to 1.21. I didnt realize you cannot do it out of order. I also updated my Panel Due 2.0 4.3" screen firmeware to 1.2. Now I cannot connect to the Duet. The PanelDue works but thats it. No internet connection either. I backtracked and at one timeby DRTak - Delta Machines
I felt the same way. But you have to perfect the temp/ speed of the printer. I have no issues printing anything in PLA. My challenge is with PETG and nylon. I think I have PETG down to a science but still cannot print large objects with Nylon. Do not really know what the issue is? So its just experimenting. But you have to keep trying. Stick with 215C and now change the speed. Make it slower anby DRTak - Delta Machines
QuoteOG What is B value R value is 100k and this exact thermistor, that e3d uses, was found in marlin config.. but I hope that this issue of mine is related to hotend heating.. because I am not that skilled in bed leveling so I am affraid that that causing the issues.. got to ask now, that when we are talking about bed leveling are we talking bed's mechanical leveling so that bed is attachedby DRTak - Delta Machines
QuoteOG Yes I have heated bed, it is that aluminium heated bed that came with sintron's kit, but there is borosilicate glass on it (I tought that I have concave and convex surface on that aluminium one) I have tried to print with temperature of 222C and I don't know dare I raise this temperature much..(I still quite noob in 3d printing) I have heared rumors, that E3D v6 needs a bit higher tempeby DRTak - Delta Machines
QuoteQdeathstar Hi. I am not sure if this printer has a heated bed, but if it does its possible that your print temperature is slightly low. When the nozzle is close to the heated bed, it doesn't loose as much heat is the filament is extruded through it, but once it raises above the bed a little bit, the air is cooler up there and the extruded jams a little bit, causing this under extrusion. I don't have my DuetWifi at hand, so I can't check....but it sounds like you powered the fans through the Extruder ports? Or are there fan ports called E0, E1? Quotedc42 Which fan output do you have the hot end fan connected to, and how have you configured it in config.g? Are you sure that the cabling is sound? I will double check the cabling. I have been having this issue for months now. However, only yesterday did I notice where the issue is coming from. When I print with Nylon230 the print randomly stops. I checked the extruder motor. Extruder voltage etc. However, I shined a flashlight on the Hotened Fan that is always on. I could see the fan spin and then turn off during a print. Then immediately turn back on. QuoteOG Do You mean that is the extruder properly mounted and does not move while extruding? if so the answer is yes.. or do you mean that is there "constant" pressure on the filament.. then answer is yes and no (simply I am not sure) I made some investigations to sort this problem out.. Quoteseanthemighty I had done, however I realised I had an older version of slicer (1.17), so upgraded to 1.29, again made sure all settings were right(ish), and it printed (huzzah!). Strangely though, when I pulled to gcode into pronterface, it placed it outside the build area (but printed fine). On all four of mine (duet 0.8.5) when I installed the new iap.bin and the 1.18.1 firmware I had to power cycle the boards before the DWC was able to connect. The reboot on the firmware upload wasn't sufficient for whatever reason. yes i did . i had it on for more than an hour . 1. Try upgrading PanelDue firmwaby DRTak - Duet
I was having issues with my new duet Ethernet. My old Duet 0.6 went bad. I couldnt figure out why my endstops were not working. The machine would go in reverse. Went I wanted it to go down, it would go up etc. It was related to the fact that I had to change the Shipped Duet Ethernet Config G file from reading LOW to "My" Normal of reading HIGH. Well my ethernet chip on my Duet 0.6 is not working. I bought and I am now running Duet Ethernet. My temps are off when using Nylon230. Currently the working temperature is 200-230 C. I have to narrow it down to a workable temp.by DRTak - Delta Machines
Quotedc42 Thanks for the reminder. I'll change 1.19 to allow the firmware more time to see the temperature start rising when tuning the bed and chamber heaters. I have been having issues when the Hotened is up to temp. I start heating up the heatbed. Im so glad that I wrote this post a long time ago. Now I have the duet ethernet and I have the same issue. But this time its a 2 edged sword. The first heater fault I get is the same as last time. Quotedc42 It's not the Ethernet connector that sometimes causes problems, it's the square chip that connects the processor to the Ethernet connector. If that's the problem, it needs hot air soldering equipment and sometimes a new chip to fix it. You don't need to use M586 to use HTTP protocol, you only need it if you want to use FTP or Telnet. The square chip I believe is the one that says TX nby DRTak - Duet

Hello, My printer was doing great until I smelled burnt electronics. Like a fool I kept printing. The print finished and all looked well. Over the last weekend, I decided to upgrade to Repetier 2.0. Took apart the printer today. No fried L7. However, the ground to the EO hotened was a little burnt. It still works but I could tell that is where the burnt electronic smel was coming from. Does the EO ground Hotened connect somewhere to the ethernet line? I noticed that my ethernet line blinks only green. There is no orange receive signal coming in? Any ideas anyone?by DRTak - Ormerod
Quotedc42 L7 has nothing to do with the Ethernet port. L7 connects analog ground to digital ground. It will burn out if you get a short between 12V and the ground side of any thermistor. Sadly, such shorts appear to be quite common. I will have to take apart my printer and see if I find any fried electronics. If I see nothing then I can only assume my config file got messed up?by DRTak - Ormerod
QuoteSardi You printed something AFTER the smell of burning electronics? Yes sadly. I did the same thing when I fried my RAMPS board. So now I will have to check and see why I cannot connect to my printer via the web iby DRTak - Ormerod
I upgraded to the new Repetier 2.0. Immediately afterward I was not able to web connect to my printer. So I uninstalled it. However, that did not work. I did smell some burning electronics but didnt really think about it. I am wondering if this can happen again in my Duet 0.6. I printed an object without duet web control fine. After updating my Duet 0.6 to Firmware 1.18 the temperature readings I think are accurate. So I am able to print Nylon 230 at the recommended 230 deg C. I have slowly increased the speed of the prints from 15 mm/s to 40 mm/s. This speed works fine for the small test cube 20 x 20mm. David, I checked and I do have an M305 command so that is not the issue. I checked my wiring and thermistor and they look fine. I think my wifi network was having an issue and the web interface (DWC) was not refreshing or sending the M562 command to the printer. Then I touched the hotend and the temp did rise. So I made sure I sent this command after reading this on the link you gave me: "Youby DRTak - Duet
David, I read the Wiki but it is not helping me. I try to heat up the hotend and it doesnt heat up anymore. The temp for the hotend has changed. Before the firmware upgrade, the hotend and hotbed temp were the same. Around 20 deg C. After the firmware update, the temp of the hotend is 10 deg C and the hotbed is 20 deg C. Did the firmware change the reading for the hotend temp during the upgrade?by DRTak - Duet
