Hello, I need help with syntax. I have duet 2 board with RRF. I have a button that calls trigger2.g So far this is ok. I have a filament runout sensor switch connected to zstop. Depending on the state of the sensor I either want to start filament loading or filament unloading. So if it is triggered unload the filament, if not triggered start loading the filament. The sensor is right at the extruby daninet - Firmware - mainstream and related support

I have made a google drive folder as i have uploaded a few videos also. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WkbYzSKrhYUENwa1pyWRByKdNaRsDIwH?usp=sharing First video will show you i have movement without autog loader. The auto1.g file runs on the video and shows progress at about 30min. The second video will show you what happens if I compile the autog loader file. auto0.g starts, then auto1.gby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
I'm back, sorry for not following up I had other mechanical difficulties with my project I had to solve and I could not provide feedback. I have switched boards from skr mini to ramps1.4 as I had to experiment with different drivers. This swap has shown that the issue is unrelated to the board, the ramps does it as well exactly the same way. So to recap: 1. I have a working marlin on my board. Iby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
Hello! I have BTT SKR Mini E3 v2 board with Marlin 2.1.2 The board is new, I did some testing with it but other than that it is new. I dont think I have toasted it with anything but never know Issue is the following: Once uploading firmware the Y motor runs exactly 1/8th of the speed. The setup is coreXY so this should not happen. Both motors should spin same speed when movement is orthogonal. Tby daninet - Controllers
Hi The following happens: Homing happens, then immediately after homing connection breaks and the board restarts. yes, i have the seed.txt and i have a 5 digit integer in itby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
Hi! Nope, unfortunately not. So maybe I'm not understanding your instructions. If I keep cardreader.cpp untouched and compile the firmware with your file (with the instructions about inserting the lines in the loop), the files are executed in order as the cardreader.cpp commands. Do we need any modification to that file? I don't see where your code is injected.by daninet - Firmware - Marlin
That Z_STOP_PIN was a surprise for me also when I switched from 2.0.9 to 2.1.2 The pin names were changed in the board's pins file and I got all kinds of compilation error for using ZMIN that worked before Thank you for your work, really.by daninet - Firmware - Marlin
I got quite a few compilation error for your stand alone file. I started with a clean git clone Marlin version 2.12 I have added the lines into the MarlinCore.cpp Then there were some easy ones like the #include contained an extra ../ for the path As I understand we are still using the randomNumber parameter so I declared it in cardreader.cpp int randomNumber = 2; and have called it in line 853by daninet - Firmware - Marlin
wow you really put work into this. I won't be able to thank you enough for this. the code you have provided in this M220 file "makes perfect sense", I mean it does look it does what you have described but I cannot wrap my head around it why it is in the M220.cpp Can I just use the code in the cardreader.cpp or it has to stay in the M220?by daninet - Firmware - Marlin
Can we save it on the SD instead? I'm afraid writing the eeprom constantly will wear it offby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
thank you for your help I have added your code, after the open and prinf file line. Also I'm not sure if you intended to include anything, i have used #include stdlib.h i think the forum formatting removes < > My files are executed in a different order now but they are not random. Same different order every time I turn on the machine. My code looks like this: #if DISABLED(NO_SD_AUTOSTby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
Hi, I'm a novice programmer when it comes to C++ and I'm utterly unfamiliar with the marlin firmware when it comes to the coding part (even though I have been using and configuring Marlin for a decade). My situation is the following: I made a kinetic sand are table, similar to the sisyphus table if you are familiar with it. I have used 3d printer components (SKR mini board, pencake steppers etc)by daninet - Firmware - Marlin

Hello, I have a 2 axis draw machine using Marlin. It is kind of a decorative piece so it should be as silent as possible. I have replaced the board due to some faulty components and the new board (skr mini) has tmc2209 drivers. Just loading the same marlin config on it (i have only replaced the board type basically) resulted in much noisier motors. It went from unnoticable to a mildly irritatingby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
Thank you, on point. I did not realized it was defined in two separate location.by daninet - Firmware - Marlin
The SD CUSTOM_CABLE error is really weird. It is clearly defined that my SD type is ONBOARD and I still get this error. Feel like this might be a bug. I have removed the CUSTOM_CABLE option in file BTT_SKR_MINI_E3_common.h at line 298 from the if statement and only the onboard and LCD option remained. This way the error is gone. looks like this now: #ifndef SDCARD_CONNECTION #define SDCARD_COby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
Hello! I'm building a pen plotter machine, very simple 2 axes, 3 stepper motor (I have 2 X). So basically all 3d printer function undefined. I'm using the neopixel rings mod for the BLV MGN Cube printer. The arduino basically just listening to the data. It is working fine and with a short 300mm cable I don't have any trouble using the screen at the same time. My issue is the cable length here.by daninet - Duet
I will try it tomorrow and let you know. Thanksby daninet - Duet
Hello! Duet2 wifi + 5" paneldue I'm using the 4wire paneldue connector to communicate with an arduino so I'm stuck with the conn_sd 10pin connector. My issue is that I need 800mm cable between the board and the paneldue and the communication is just not working for the screen. The cable is perfect, I tested it. I did read in the manual the recommended length is 300mm max. My question is if I donby daninet - Duet
Hello! I have a generic question I don't understand. I'm building a corexy machine with duet board and rrf. The machine motion in xy direction is around 400x400mm but the bed is only 300x300. My homing is in one of the corner at 0,0. How do I define the bed (work) area? My bed starts around 50,50 and ends around 350,350. Hello, I'm in the process of building a core xy machine with dual Z bed. I'm using duet 2 wifi board. One of the motors turning half the steps as the other. If one is turning 2 the other is one. Hello! I have a small 3 axis CNC router I'm using to cut wood. I have used the cnc smoothie firmware and mks board to set it up. Now I was thinking if I can just attach a diode laser on it and call it a day I have a laser engraver. I certanly could, but the laser needs some extra wires I did not configure in the config file. So how this could possibly work? Is there any way I can configure smoothby daninet - Smoothie
I have solved the issue why the external SD card reader not working and why it is working with the LCD. Here is the solution for anyone find this forum post: The SD card reader has one less pin, it has no SD detect. However Gen_L expects SD detect to initialize the SD card. If I turn off the pin everything works fine. The reason it was working with the LCD is that it has SD detect pin in the EXTby daninet - Controllers
Hello! I have this Gen_L v1.0 board no SD card slot on it. I have an external SD card reader (that cheap 5pin type used for arduino projects), I have defined the pins in marlin, I have uploaded an autostart gcode and it starts about 1/3 of the times. I can always read the content of the card with pronterface, I don't have any read/write issues, this autostart thingy only works a handful of timesby daninet - Controllers
I have managed to solve the issue by updating to the latest Marlin from github. I have used the new config files and copied all the settings from the old file. Also I have a feeling for some reason auto0.g is being skipped so I made an empty auto0.g and my first file is auto1.gby daninet - Firmware - Marlin
