I took all my information on the sellers site. I even used their config file to begin and yes my stepper current is set like you mention in the config file My printer was already running smoothieware with the steppers current at 1.2A with another board...I don't understand why I would need to go to 1.75 ? And even then I should at least measure something else than zero at the vref pinby yanickr1973 - Smoothie
Hi everybody, Received my new Azteeg X5 GT. I realize just now that the community and help for this board is nearly non-existent! Here is my problem: I installed my board (replacing my MKS SBASE 1.3). I modified the config file as per my setup and everything is working as it should except the motors... I can hear a faint humming noise when I command the motors to move but looks like the voltagby yanickr1973 - Smoothie
Hi Guys, I just installed my ATX power supply and wired everything as it should. I have a problem: I turn on the printer, connect to the printer via Repetier host. Ok so far. I send M81 command. Printer turns off. Great. I send M80 command...Nothing?? I tried with the standby 5v connected, disconnected, with diode D1 installed, D1 removed...same thing... Any thought? Thanks!by yanickr1973 - Controllers
I had the same problem as you and tried everything you tried yourself, almost drove me nuts! I solved the problem by changing the jerk settings like this: #define DEFAULT_XYJERK 10.0 // (mm/sec) #define DEFAULT_ZJERK 0.4 // (mm/sec) #define DEFAULT_EJERK 5.0 // (mm/sec) Hope this helps!by yanickr1973 - Reprappers

Ok I confirm the problem was with the voltage regulator. I just replaced it and the printer came back to life I bought 3 regulators through my wife at her workplace: Cost me less than 2 dollars! Case closedby yanickr1973 - Reprappers
Haha no wonder you don't understand, it doesn't make sense! I meant to say: I plugged my laptop to the PRINTER and it came back to life To be honest I did not check yet the output of the Vreg yet but i am 99.9% sure this is the problem I'll physically check tonight when I get homeby yanickr1973 - Reprappers
I cannot really help you because I am in the building process and never printed anything yet But for the circle problem I have a similar issue: I draw my parts with Catia V5, in Catia my circles are round but when I export them to .STL the circles become multilines like you have on your bed. Haven't found a setting to correct this so far. Hope you find a solution!by yanickr1973 - Reprappers
Hi guys Looks like I fried the 5v regulator on my Arduino mega Yesterday it was running fine while doing tests but when I turned the printer on this morning the LCD would not come on I plugged my laptop to the computer and it came back to life. When I unplug the pc it goes dead again I did some reading and found this to be the faulty part Did I do something wrong? is there a sequence to foby yanickr1973 - Reprappers
Thank's for your answer. Just to make a test I chose #5, it's the same setting required for my hot end thermistor (E3D) I set the hotbed temp to 40C first and then 60C and checked the temp with my small infrared thermometer and was whithin 1C on both readings So I guess I will go with this setting for now. Thank's for the help!by yanickr1973 - Reprappers
