Anyone running smoothieboard for 6 axis CNC mode? After following the instruction at I able to compile and then flash this firmware... sort of 'working'. make clean make AXIS=6 PAXIS=6 CNC=1 as I want all 6 axis a real axis, not just rotational axis. G28.2 able to home the X, Y and Z axis, but not the A, B and C axis. M119 shows all my endstops work well. Anyone has any thought how to debugby prophet-id - Smoothie
Delta printer with 2 nozzles and Touch probe. All positions below are relative to center of the bed which is X:0 Y:0 - The first nozzle is at X:-10 Y:0 - The second nozzle is at X:10 Y:0 - The probe is at X:0 Y:10 And my current firmware setting has: #define HOTEND_OFFSET_X {0.0, 20.00} #define X_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER 0 #define Y_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXTRUDER -10 #define Z_PROBE_OFFSET_FROM_EXby prophet-id - Firmware - Marlin
I tried that on my slicer which is Simplify3D, but don't like it since the preview shows each tool (nozzle) set apart (as far as the nozzle's offset) instead as a mono single model.by prophet-id - Delta Machines
I am wondering where is the setting to set the location after homing. My delta decrease the Z about 40 mm after homing sequence finish. Anyone know where the setting to change that 40 mm distance is? (the height alone is correct, meaning if I send gcode G1 Z1 F2000, the nozzle move and stop 1mm above the bed). Btw, I recall Marlin 1.1.0-RC6 doesn't have this extra motion.by prophet-id - Firmware - Marlin
1.1.0 RC6 without auto bed leveling. Slicer: S3D With 2nd extruder is 20mm away toward right side, I set: #define EXTRUDER_OFFSET_X {0.0, 20.0} // (in mm) for each extruder, offset of the hotend on the X axis #define EXTRUDER_OFFSET_Y {0.0, 0.0} // (in mm) for each extruder, offset of the hotend on the Y axis When I print with the 1st extruder ONLY, it works well. If I print with 2nd extruder Oby prophet-id - Delta Machines
