NON È LA SEZIONE SUI PROBLEMI DI STAMPA O DELLA STAMPANTE! Discussioni generali sul mondo RepRap e la stampa 3D.Thanks for prompt reaction, I have ormerod 2 with wood 3 screws support, I'll try to explain much better the problem. Near to the x home there are two screws and in this area the height is ok, in the other side (far from x home) there is only one screw and if I move the bed on y axis in one side the z is low and on the other side higher, of course it's a minimal difference that make a big differby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Thanks for the suggestion about the Ethernet connection. Could someone tell me some trick to improve the accuracy of the plane leveling, actually it's not accurate, one side (close to the z shaft) is ok but when go far from the x home the height of the hot end is not enough. Thanksby Igloo_it - Ormerod
the slic3r version is 1.1.7 and yes i never used the web interface due of the fact that i'm using a surface 3 pro that have no ethernet on board, i'll download the latest version of slic3r thankby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Quotedc42 QuoteIgloo_it yesterday finally i set up the first printer, today i tried a new job and the hot end not warm up, any idea on where i have to check? the bed work ok, thanks 1. Have you sent a T0 command to enable the hot end? 2. Does the LED near the hot end connector light up when you tell then hot end to heat up? 3. If yes to (2), check the 6-pin hot end connector. IMO it's not a veby Igloo_it - Ormerod

also may i use repetier host if yes is there a configuration file for ormerod and also for the slice program? thanksby Igloo_it - Ormerod
i just sent a job and i need an information, when the start the compensation the head go down to the bed like the Z home or stay a little away from the bed? thanksby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Quotedc42 QuoteIgloo_it this is the actual config M563 P0 D0 H1 ; Define tool 0 G10 P0 S-273 R-273 ; Set tool 0 operating and standby temperatures You are defining the hot end as tool 0 (the P parameter in the M563 and G10 commands), so you need to activate Tool 0. Here are some ways of doing it: 1. Send T0 via Pronterface, or via "Send Gcode" on the web interface. 2. Look at the "Heater 1"by Igloo_it - Ormerod

i found the problem the firmware version 0,78 the point must be inside of config.g , ok i have to understand something, i sent the G32 and it started to go around the bed the probe go down a little and start to go to the next point, it should go down close to the bed like when i send the home z or no? could someone explain with the 0,78 firmware how set the bed compensation procedure thanks.by Igloo_it - Ormerod
i'm trying to set the bed compensation i set the 4 point but when i send the G31 an error pop up "Bed probing: there needs to be 3 or more points set." why thanks? this is my bed.g M561 G1 Z10 F200 G1 X45 Y0 F2000 G30 P0 Z-100000 G1 Z10 F200 G1 X45 Y170 F2000 G30 P1 Z-100000 G1 Z10 F200 G1 X215 Y170 F2000 G30 P2 Z-100000 G1 Z10 F200 G1 X215 Y10 F2000 G30 P3 S Z-100000 G4 P1500 ; Leave the probeby Igloo_it - Ormerod
it seems that i solved some problems, one question, why i have to compensate the bed manuallyand put the values in the bed.g file? it should make the compensation all the time before to start a new job, isn't it?by Igloo_it - Ormerod
thanks for the replies. before than i pack everything and send back to RS i would like to understand something. If i bought something in kit, especially sold by RS, i think to find something that after the assembling it should work, on 4 printers 3 assembled only one work with problems. i trying to set up the home axis, the y work perfectly, the x and the z no. Hello I'm trying to set the z height but the nozzle stay always 10 mm from the bed, when I send a G31 the value is always 23 (21) no 600 like described in the documentation. The firmware is 0,78 is there another better firmware? I have 4 printer to set up for my school, one is faulty due of the fact that the motor not turn at all, only bed and hot end warm up, I have to call RS to replace. Anotheby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Quick update(this evening back to home too late), I plugged everything fastly, the x and z axis work fine, the y axis seem to be underpowered even if I help by hand it move strangely, the hot end probe is not recognized at all, I sent a M105 and only one temp was showed, the bed probe is recognized wrongly. I tried to send the x axis to home but an error comes up, no g code.... Right now I'm thinby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Sorry I posted th same photo, this is the other one, tonight i think that I'll test the second printerby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Thanks Dave for your detailed explanation, I'll look into asap and report back. In any case the bed and the hot end works perfectly and it sound strange that all the stepper drivers are faulty or connection problem, probably i made a mistake somewhere but I'm not realized where. The only problem is that i checked the proximity sensor as x instruction and the result is that I'm around 27 to 33 notby Igloo_it - Ormerod
I started to build another ormerod (I have four to build) and I'm curious to know what's going on with this. I have attached the phots of the two boards that are a little bit different.by Igloo_it - Ormerod

I have checked carefully everything before to power on, the pin is in place, and everything should be in right place like described, I found also the wrong polarity on the proximity plug. The high voltage is on the board due of the fact that the elements warm up. Strangely all motors not turn, I warm up the hot end to check the extruder motor and also this motor won't turn. I read and test almosby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Solved the problem with the hot end termistore, i have flashed the version 1.04 and now it works and warm up both bed and hot end. Now the problem is that no one motor move at all, any ideas? thanksby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Thanks for the info, i finally flashed the board whit this firmware. I have one question when i try to check the temp with N105 the result is ok T: B:23.6 H0:23.6/-273.1 H1:20.9/-273.0 i checked the wires and it seems ok any ideas? Also no one axis move......... Good start, thanksby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Many thanks for your fast reply Dc42, I'm not trying to change nothing, the problem is that the main board received is empty and I have to load the firmware, I have already downloaded from the link that you have post, I downloaded the firmware and the additional library, unfortunately when I try to verify all the time a message comes up, saying that something is missing, I read somewhere that alby Igloo_it - Ormerod
Hello to everybody, i have a problem, in the school where i work there are 4 new 3d printer ormerod 2 bought from RS components, now someone have decided to give me one to assemble that i did.

A me x esempio capitava xke il voltaggio era troppo basso.by Igloo_it - Discussioni generali - NO PROBLEMI DELLA STAMPANTE
