HI..
No belts are used as you use fishing line which is included,
All you need is motors, hotend and electronics. As for the printbed I was going to use a piece of square MDF and screw it to the almu ext.
Plus a Mk7 pinch wheel for the extruder and springs.
Thanks

Hi..
Their is always room for more suppliers of filement.
Keep your prices at a good level and you should do OK.
Maybe talk to Vik in NZ and become the Australia dealer for his ABS and PLA, good filement.

HI..
That look cool..
If you are having problems with parts, just ask the person you brought them from to replace them.. As they should stand behind the parts.
Thanks for sharing

Hi..
Not sure about the first but makergear make a very nice printer, his hotend is one of the best out there and his printed prats look great.
The price could be the quailty of of printed parts, high layer high, less infill making the parts not as strong, cheap motors, diffrent electronics. It could be a number of things.
Just remebr you get what you pay for.
Other printers to look at are Ros

Hi..
While it's good to buy a 3D printer all ready to go but doing so doesn't give you the smarts to fix a problem and can be very off putting when you can't find the answer.
Now by building a 3D printer gives you skill you that will improve your life. Yes, it does cost a heap more but tracking down the stuff you need is all part of the fun, what printer to build, parts to buy, electronics to b

HI..
You will only get a 0.1mm layer if you use a small nozzle, I have done this by using a .15 nozzle I had made, You will also have to make sure your extruder doesn't slip and run your temp up high so it melts quicker. Your print will also take a heap longer to print, I use this setup to print small gears for my model trains.

HI..
Sounds like you have a short on the ramps board..
Check all your solder joints, maybe even re solder them..
Also check you have the parts around the right way.
