HI.. You could try heating the nozzle to 220C and quick retracting the extruder in the hope it will clear the hole... You could also try use a thin peice of wire to push up the hole.. Auzze

HI.. If you are having a problem with your PLA or ABS being wet (water in the filement) just place it in an over for a few hours at a low temp say 100C. I have used both Vik's and johnny's PLA with no great diffrence, but I did note that I have to rasie the temp to abut 200-210C for jonny's but found I could extrude Vik's at about 180-190C. Auzze.

HI.. A few things you should think about.. If you are using a gantry you need to use larger rods, say 10mm or 12mm as the weight of the garnty will be a factor Also if you are going to use lead screws on your cnc thing you need to acount for that they will be slow for 3d printing and belts will be to fast for cnc. I have brought heaps of cheap bearing form ebay and only ever had one bad one. A

HI.. I run Pronterface on an old HP m700 laptop (900hz with 64 meg RAM) with no problems, I also use the same laptop to run MACH3 for my small mill/router.. The laptop runs XP home. Auzze

Hey.. You are looking at Holding Torque, don't know why but you are looking for motor of about 70oz for the x, y and extruder, you can use lower rated ones for the z as they don't do much work.. Auzze

HI.. You will need to uplaod sprinter but before you do you will need to change the motherboard type to 33 which is for RAMPS 1.3 and 1.4, seeing that they are both the same.. Once you change that setting you need the change your steps/mm for the extruder, enable or disable the sdramps statement, set the end stop to true and set the lenghts in the axis lenght..
