a stratasys/objet reseller in Canada is selling his own resin on the side for exactly half the price objet is selling the regular resin. If you want OEM material he will sell you resin at the dental price without going through the process of getting approved.
They are really secretive about it because they are one of the original objet resellers in the Toronto area and they knocked off every res

I've done electoplating in the past on plastic and sla parts and I found the Caswell kits work VERY well, and the book that comes with them covers everything in regards to electroplating from a DIY stand point. Not to mention safer chemicals to use indoors with exception of the Acid copper because you are using battery acid.
If you have CAD software that will give you the surface area of your mo

I'm using Viki on two machines. Works great but I had a bit of a quality issue with one(LCD mounting post) so look it over if you order one to make sure its ok.
..... Shipping is a bit slow but worth the wait.

no issues with Win7 or 8.
32 or 64bit is all working....the driver is not specific to azteeg...its considered generic hardware and should download from windows update site.
Just make sure your speed settings in device manager are high enough or match repetier host and FW com speed.....windows defaults to 9600 and you need 115K or 250K...I set mine to max.

How are your motors for Z axis connected?
I saw this problem happen when the Z axis drive is set too high or resistance of the motors was too low. Basically what was happening
was the drive operated until it overheated and shut down, and as soon as the drive came back online it resumed operating until it overheated and the cycle repeats the entire build.

looks like stratasys changed the MSDS.
I wonder if my local reseller complained because I was teasing him I could buy the material cheaper from makerbot than his cost from stratasys.
Now is stratasys actually shipping ChiMei? or P430 through makerbot?

Figured I would share the discovery Makerbot is selling Stratasys M30(fortus name for the material)P430(dimension name for the material) for $48/1kg spool...confirmed by MSDS on Makerbot.com
Now how is Stratasys going to explain that to the resellers stocking & selling the same material for $280.... and how are those resellers going to explain that to their clients?

When your machine stops extruding...is it a clog hotend or the extruder motor just stops?
What size of nozzle do you have installed 0.2,0.3, 0.4...ect...make sure you update the nozzle size in your slicer software.
Suggestion: double check your settings match the machine nozzle size.
Is your extruder calibrated? ie: when you tell it to extrude 10mm through software the machine feeds 10mm? If y

I would check your stepper drives are properly adjusted AND are properly being cooled.
-Too low current setting and the drives will skip
-depending on what drives your using, No cooling or too high current setting causes the drive to get hot and go into protection mode(turn off the drive) until it cools down then it resumes working.
I would switch to repetier FW, I found it's much better and le

Just an FYI. I'm moving to stainless steel and using a #0 center drill, pecked 18 times into the diameter.
FYI - That's how stratasys makes them.
18 stroke/peck drill cycle per hole is a bit excesive, two or three pecks using lube, proper feed and speed should do it.

First comment to set the record straight - VW has been mass producing air cooled engines since the 40's
GM, Most Motorcycles are aircooled
Second Comment, to be fair the results look ok but based on pictures posted and speed claim its far from the best performance on the market but with tuning I could see it work as good as everything else.

I'm running one with the same damage(one buggered hole) and it works no problem. As long as 3 out of the 4 holes are ok then you shouldn't have any issues using it with a washer on that broken edge.
If you don't need it at this very moment I would push to get a replacement. You bought and paid for 100% perfect product.
Was the package damaged? if no I would point that fact out to the seller as

You could use either of these...
AD595( I think this is what ultimaker uses) -----the AQ version is accurate enough.
or AD8495 is the new version but only available in SMT surfacemount and would need a firmware tweak.

I could be wrong but it looks like your Z is skipping stepps because the layers are not shifted(over on one side and under on the other...try changing the speed of Z axis or limiting the firmware to a speed you know your machine can run.
Z wobble would be inconsistant misalligned layers.

I'm using the X1 (V1 with the 644) .....Works as expected.
Build quality is top notch and price is ok. I was going to start using them in my kits but the vendor is a bit spotty on communication so I decided to switch back to RAMPS because I use them in kits and community support is better for RAMPS.
