I've got all 3 jumpers on each of the drivers in my Ramps, if that would do it. Or is there more to it than that?
That is 1/16 microstepping, that should be more than sufficient for the z axis.
It's been at that point since I initially built it though, and still have the problem. IS there anything else that could fix it?

How would I go about increasing the microstepping?
Depends on your electronics and firmware, typically you just have to move some jumpers, maybe also rebuild the formware, in Marlin you can use M92 to adjust steps/mm.

Are your z leadscrews straight?
Bend z leadscrews can lead to non linear motion, which again leads to inconsistent layer height, which is seen as ribbing, since some layers is overextruded and other layers is underextruded.
Bend leadscrews can also move the x-carrige around in circles, preventing layers from being stacked nicely on top of each others.
Alternatively it could be your s

Tried printing 2 cubes at the same time, ribbing distance is the same as with 1 cube. What could that indicate?

I'm having problems with Z Ribbing on my i3. I've tried a few different layer heights (namely 0.2, 0.18, 0.15, and 0.14) and none seem to work. Each layer height I've tried has the ribbing occurring at intervals (ie, not random), but the intervals are different depending on the layer height, so I know it's ribbing. Here's some photos of th .2mm and .14mm layer height test prints:

This article on the wiki makes it seem like it does, under the ABS section. I'm not entirely sure what do get though - would it not melt at a certain temp? And would putting ABS juice on it cause it erode slightly? Or is this not the type of material that would dissolve?

I'm having extreme difficulty finding stepper motors to buy. My drivers are only rated for 1A, but every motor I can find has the torque drop significantly once you go under that. I must be understanding something wrong, but what am I missing? What amount fo torque do I ACTUALLY need?

I've accidentally posted this in the RAMPS forum but it's better suited here. Alright, so I'm completely new when it comes to RepRap, so I'm trying to get the hang of this. There have been so many different configurations and 100 different BOMs I'm seeing, but I'm fairly sure I've bought the right mechanical stuff.
I'm looking at electrical stuff now, and I'm a bit lost.

I think I've decided on getting the Prusa i3 as my first printer (though I've used A Stratysys many times), but I have no idea where to buy one near the GTA (or in Canada). The reason I'm looking for one around these parts is specifically so I don't get murdered with shipping charges / customs caused by shipping internationally. The only place I've found that would do so is Mixshop, but I haven't
