Z axis at the palm is a bad idea.
I believe scara arm can be fast and accurate.
My test print size is precise enough for me.

Delta gak perlu custom firmware. Sy rekomendasi pakai repetier. Cukup ubah configuration.h atau langsung d EEPROM repetier host. Gak perlu upload2 firmware terus

Kl gak pakai sensor, pemanas akan terus panasin tanpa stop. Makanya gak ada sensor heater gak nyala. Bahaya.
Kl problemnya gara2 sensor sering stop print, tinggiin toleransi naik turun suhu atau panjangin waktu cek sensor.

Coba adjust step per mm extruder. Ada kemungkinan over extrude. Jangan percaya perhitungan teoritis, karena diameter filamen 1.75 belum tentu benar2 1.75

I don't really understand what you mean with parallel scara reduce distance error. I think by nature parallel scara is a bit more stiff than single. but reducing distance error, I don't think it is.
I think in parallel, if I don't make the parallel arms really parallel, it would be an additional problem in calculating the error.

do you mean the more arm length the more inaccurate?
if that the case, isn't parallel scara also the same?
and it should be cured by use bigger gear ratio... right?

I don't like pararel scara.
It's hard to make exactly the same length of arms, in the end hard to calibrate as delta.
I make calibration route very easy for this model and it quite accurate and only takes not more than an hour.

It base on SCARA Arm design with modified repetier firmware.
There are some unique feature in this robot arm.
1. The hot end is the z probe switch, so it will be easy to autolevel bed.
2. The hot end is easy to attach and detach so it would be easy to modify the robot to other purposes as CNC, laser, etc.
