Not sure if you're still looking but . . . The free version on EAGLE seems quite usable as long as you can fit everything on a 100 x 80 mm board.by andy_rb - CNC Routers, Mills, and Hybrid RepRapping
Hi Everyone I'm "upgrading" a cnc mill so that it can also print. I'm going to use a Greg's Wade Reloaded for driving the filament and will get someone to print it for me. I'm going to use ABS but should I print it solid or will it be strong enough will perhaps 2mm wall thickness and perhaps 70% fill? I'm inclined to go for solid, especially for the gears but are there any downsides to this?by andy_rb - Plastic Extruder Working Group
Hello All Has anyone tried using brass gas jets as extruder nozzles? That is, the jets you find in a gas stove. They are cheap and the common ones come in a range of sizes down to about 0.3 mm. They have a standard thread, so would be easy to swap as required. Smaller sizes are as follows. Numbering is based on imperial drill sizes (as fraction of an inch) No. Inch mm 80 0.0135by andy_rb - Plastic Extruder Working Group
