Prusa i3. I do not know which brand. I know this is an old topic but I am having the same issue here. None of the motors work. I flashed it and then connected. I see that the end stops should be triggered to let the machine know where it stands. Great idea I thin so I did that one by one. Now that I do that it says the stop is triggered all good then I hit the next one and it shows that thatby jel111 - RAMPS Electronics

Thanks, question though. I found a video to test motors with an led. All the motors on the 3d printer do not light when I test like that but they were moving on the printer albeit with a lot of noise. Are they dead?by jel111 - Prusa i3 and variants
Got a used kit and the whole thing was loose and put together hastily. I think I have it pretty good but when I boot it up I can connect and all is good but when I test the travel it chatters or grinding. It seems like they are moving back and forth. I reworded all the motors per the guide I had the coloring was wrong. Everything seems to work but to me it needs to be fine tuned. How do you tuneby jel111 - Prusa i3 and variants
I did start a new topic and You are right they are different But the ramps board says Ultimaker right on it. I mention that so if anyone has a diagram for either machine on how the sensor hooks up it would be the same. Thanksby jel111 - Plastic Extruder Working Group
I picked up a Prusa i3 and it has a Bowden Style Hotend. It also has a Ramps 1.4 board that has Ultimaker on it. My problem is that I saw that he had the wires to the motor unlike everything I had read to wire it up and he has two wires that have seemingly no spot for coming off the Hotend. I didn't want to retire the whole thing but I think I have to. I don't know where those two wires go. He saby jel111 - General
@Rudydg I just picked up a Prusa I3 Ultimaker I believe and was wondering about some wiring issue I have. It has a proximity sensor on it and I am having trouble finding any sort of diagram for that. It has a Dual extruder and the guy I bought it from said it has wires coming off the sensor itself, Which I believe goes into the z axis from what I read and then he has two wires just hanging from tby jel111 - Plastic Extruder Working Group
