Quotewidespreaddeadhead Have you checked you z-offset? Probably not it, but worth a check! After the issues I have atm, that would also be my guessby GRAYWOLF - Printing
Quotedna I too changed this: #define NUM_AXIS 5 // The axis order in all axis related arrays is X, Y, Z, E #define HOMING_FEEDRATE {50*60, 50*60, 2.5*60, 0,0} Result is the same. :-/ Just a point here, Changeing those line will not do anything as the "#" means that they are commented out!by GRAYWOLF - General
Glad to hear you solved it.by GRAYWOLF - General
is the resistor a new thing? I have just directly connected green to gndby GRAYWOLF - General
Am I reading Ramps 1.4 diagrams correct? Can 6 end stops be used?by GRAYWOLF - General
Sweet, the error is easy to fix the solder joint broke so need to resolder the lead.by GRAYWOLF - General
QuoteKurzaa Are there any Makerspaces near by? What seems to be the issue? Don't know of any Not working anymore, Swapped hotend and lost the ability to calibrate! Printrun doesn't work anymore Err:MINTEMP! which I think means that I've broke the new thermistor already Everything was going so well then bang!by GRAYWOLF - General
But before I give up, is there anyone Near Bridgwater in Somerset (M5 Corridor) I could call on to sort out my I3 printer if I cant fix it.by GRAYWOLF - General
I have 2 bulldog lites and the weight on the print head carriage is ridiculous. I have uploaded to thingverse a duel carriage which has the bulldogs mounted on the frameby GRAYWOLF - General
Quotetadawson Autotune is M303 . . . M301 just sets the values you gave it, and thus has no return info . . . and those would be the wrong values for M303 anyhoo . . . so I'm a tad unclear exactly what you are trying to do . . . - Tim Those are the returned values that autotune (M303) asked me store (just replace hotend) Just asking how can I know if these setting commands have actually workedby GRAYWOLF - General
I've just replaced the hotend on my printer and run the pid auto tune but when I send the values all I see is Quote SENDING:M301 P28.55 I1.59 D128.06 How do I know if it finished?by GRAYWOLF - General
Quotetadawson Are you kidding? A RAMPS FET will run up to 8 amps (the bed) or 5 (the nozzle) and most small fans draw more like .07 amps, so no need for anything other than tieing them both on . . . - Tim I'm not talking about that connection I'm talking about the 2 pin fan connection that is often connected to a daughterboard/splitter.by GRAYWOLF - General
As well as nozzel size, have you checked print and layer size options?by GRAYWOLF - Printing
If you have the daughter board, you connect both the hot end cooler and print cooler (not used with ABS) into that. but I read something about needing to add mosfets to those connects to run more then 1 fan powered from the main 12V connections Ramps 1.4 duel extruder wiring diagrams don't actually show and fans except for the ramps cooler connected to 12v in.by GRAYWOLF - General

Err no, As I under stand it A patent is used to stop people creating work based on another person work or derived from another persons work. GPL et all is there to encourage it but prevent people from making money from another partys work.by GRAYWOLF - General
Delete all explorer history, cookies, and data (make sure you have a record of passwords) Close down the explorer, run disk cleanup (Anyone know what osx's version of this is?) restart computer then re-access the website. That is a started example of a confused explorer.by GRAYWOLF - General

I am currently printing at 0.3 using a bulldog lite and hexagon but finding time when 0.3 isn't small enough.by GRAYWOLF - General
1.6.4? I have seen quite a few problems related to this version, there was a discussion about it but can't remember which forum it was in.by GRAYWOLF - General
Is there a way to have the ability in cura to select between 2 different nozzle size's on a duel hotend setup? I plan on having 0.4 for rough test prints and 0.2 for fine detailed prints.by GRAYWOLF - General
Quotenicholas.seward @GRAYWOLF: Going off the rails here but you could do it with a static heating element. Transmit thermal instead of electrical energy. Kepping it slightly off topic - Would one of them infered heaters work?by GRAYWOLF - Developers
I use a plywood box with clear plastic bag over the front heatbed@100 hotend@230 Printspeed@40mm/s Using raft. I have a glass plate covered in Kapton and flood the plate with ABS just made form the slurried bits of raft. Only had problems when i upped my speed to 70mm/s or forgot to juice the plate.by GRAYWOLF - General
Just to add my two cents (or pence) How would you connect the heating elements for a heated bud for the use of ABS and such, there are rotations connectors for low current connections but the higher bed currents need a heavier more relabel connection. you could run the wiring through the bed arm but still a swivel connection will need to be fitted somewhere. BTW someone is working on a rotatingby GRAYWOLF - Developers

Next thing to try is to strip down the electronics so that the mega is on its own. Try flashing again, if that doesn't work, you have two issues to work through. both can be diagnosed by bypassing the usb chip but you will need additional programmer. Go to arduino.cc and see if it's the boot loaded (if it has one) that has died, (can be reprogrammed) You will need an ISP programmer to check if itby GRAYWOLF - General
