I have a Duet 0.8.5 for sale - as new. Fully working, powered it up to check that I could connect, but then the DuetWifi came out and I used that to complete my printer... Located in Vienna, Austria - looking for 100EUR incl Shipping in Europe.by Risingphoenix - For Sale
Great - I'll try this out, thanks for helping out on this issue that is only tangentially linked to the Duet!by Risingphoenix - Duet
Thanks for the answer - that could indeed explain how some work sometimes and others don't at all... Can you confirm that replacing the 180Ohm resistor by a 100Ohm will make this work for 3.3V? I'll put my SMD soldering skills up to date in preparationby Risingphoenix - Duet
That would help explain of course The design is an exact copy of the Gen7 option end stop as per here: Wiki Is this not suitable for 3.3V?by Risingphoenix - Duet
Sorry, I may I edited my previous reply while you already responded... My issue is that the Duet firmware does not pick up the state change: the LED's (on the Duet and on the Endstop) change with the state - and on one Endstop it simply does not register any change of state in the firmware despite the LEDs on the board changing. I have tried multiple Endstops, and since the LEDs work accordingby Risingphoenix - Duet
So there is no way of using OptoEndstops with the Duet? I've now been through three different suppliers of Endstops - and it is surprising that it works with some (the two original ones on the machine) but not one, however much I try?by Risingphoenix - Duet
Thank you for your answer - I've now looked intensively in the issue and think I can give a bit more clues, but I do not have an answer here: the Opto Endstops I use are what seems to be a standard from SainSmart. They have a LED control which lights up when connected and turns down when the switch is closed. I've tested four different switches, and interchanged all cables: it seems that some sby Risingphoenix - Duet
Sorry but thank you very much for taking the time to answer - you're absolutely correct... I overlooked the different screensizes and simply scrolled all the way down...by Risingphoenix - Duet
Hello - I am trying to set up my Delta using my new Duet (Firmware 1.12a). All seems to work fine (homing and then moving the axis using the PanelDue). But after the first click on the home, any subsequent requests to home only move two axis (the Y Engine doesn't move while X and Z move towards the end-stop). Any Idea where to start looking? Thanks!by Risingphoenix - Duet
Thank you - I am looking forward to the update! Unfortunately I just tried to update following the procedure and it displayed a "touch the sp..." where I couldn't see the spot and so it hung. I use the 4.3" Think3DPrint3D screen. I imagine I have to adjust the expected screen size somewhere - could you please point as to how to do this to get it working with this screen? Thank youby Risingphoenix - Duet
Did you also found that you can have the exact model we seem to have narrowed down with the encoder attached? Just bought a few 100rpm with encoder (be sure to specify when buying, they have all the speeds). Only difference I can see is that with Pololu you can have a higher spec motor, good for double the stalling A. AliExpress micro Motor 6V w/ encoderby Risingphoenix - General
Been following with great interest - and thought I'd try to contribute. There seems to be very similar motors (6V rather than 12V) available with dual shaft and encoder available from Polulu, with very differing gearings: https://www.pololu.com/blog/549/hpcb-micro-metal-gearmotors-with-extended-motor-shafts Could this be not used to drive with for example a Arduino Nano, making for a small pacby Risingphoenix - General
