Bought sanguino from this guy. It turns out the electronics was defective. Contacted him and sent it back and never gotten a reply back. It has been serveral months now. When he asked me for a tracking, I knew I was going to get rip off since I sent it firstclass. As of right now, no electronics and no money (lost $96). So buy with caution. Recently we've been busy. So I haven't have to time to do the quote(s). TK-0 seemed to have lots of parts. I would say around $200.

The only place that the buyer has no protection at all and giving the seller 0 risk is at crowd funding places such as kickstarter or indiegogo. If the seller decides to under promise the deliveriables and in some cases not to deliver the promises at all, the buyer really can't do anything about it.

Actually you can file a dispute even if he delivered as promised. You can actually break the machine and claim that it's defective. The seller really have no protection at all.

These machines are close to worthless now. Two the price of one would be around $500 free shipping. Being worthless, good for buyers but bad for sellers.

There are multiple ways to get scamm as a seller since a seller have very limited and in some cases no protection at all. On the other hand, a buyer have multiple layers of protection. As for your loop hole question read above. The transaction wasn't authorized. That was the loop hole.
