I don't think your feeder system is going to be strong enough, the PLA or ABS is really quite viscous. All working extruders have some sort of gear that cuts into the plastic to drag it threw. Eg a hobbed bolt Other than that it looks nice.by Dust - New Zealand RepRap User Group
You guys should get online to the reprap IRC channel, lots of help there.. If you know IRC here are the details irc://freenode/Reprap Or you can just use the web interfaceby Dust - New Zealand RepRap User Group

Hi builder wannabe Over all price depends on how much time you want to waste searching for lower priced parts... and how much effort you want to put into it.. Eg fully assembled electronics vs Soldering your own. You cant get most of it from Chch... only the threaded rods, nuts, bolts washers etc Currently I recommend the following, im not saying these are the only options, just the ones I lby Dust - New Zealand RepRap User Group
I built it all myself, only one tricky small surface mount part. (very very small) I got the board for free, since its a v1.1 (now obsolete, but still fully functional) I got all the parts from mouser, delivered. 100.07nz, should be less with the current exchange rates Actually see about the same price This is the guy who designed the board... Get everything from the source, and the trickyby Dust - New Zealand RepRap User Group

I Just went to Wilson Bros Christchurch yesterday and ordered both belts for a second Prusa I'm building They arrived today, no issues, same price as last time (prices exclude GST). (So its $45.24 all up) Give you local branch a call, and get them to talk to the Annex Road branch and find out where they get them from to order theby Dust - New Zealand RepRap User Group
Wilson Bros Ltd Christchurch NZ - Timing belt: t5-840-5 ($15.39 ex GST for Prusa Mendel) , t5-1380-5 ($23.95 ex GST for both Mendels) (prices are from when I got mine about 4 months ago) I am using these presently, they had to order them in, but it was next day courier There is a Wilson Bros in Nelson according to They should be able to help.by Dust - New Zealand RepRap User Group
