Thanks! It's pretty much a standard build... just done with less precision or skill.by NLightNMe - Reprappers

Hi Everyone, I am building a RepStrap machine and would like to speed up my progress. I am looking to purchase a plastic extrusion toolhead (Plastruder). Please let me know if you have one to part with. Photos and any details you can provide are appreciated.by NLightNMe - Wanted
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to share a photo of my RepStrap progress (and my messy workbench). I'm mostly done with the mechanical aspects. There is still some tweaking to do, but now I will switch focus to getting the electronics going. I have to say, if I were doing it again, I probably wouldn't go this way for a bootstrap machine. I think I'd start with a Contraptor (http://www.contraptor.orby NLightNMe - Reprappers
Hi Everyone! I'm excited today because I got my x-stage assembled and connected to the stepper motor. I put together a 555 oscillator circuit so I can control the speed of the platform with a pot as it moves back and forth. Very exciting for me; probably not so much for everyone else.by NLightNMe - Reprappers
Hi Everyone, I cannot find any information about what the header is for the stepper on the V2.3 driver board. On this page (http://reprap.org/bin/view/Main/Stepper_Motor_Driver_2_3) it is just 'Stepper Header', but it is clearly a locking header of a certain size. How are people connecting their steppers to this header? Thanks!by NLightNMe - Controllers
Hi Everyone, I'm working on building a McWire Rep-Strap. Unfortunately, I mis-cut my x-rails, and now I don't have enough U stock to do the y and z rails. I have enough left for 3 of the 4 13" pieces. Does anyone have 13" of aluminum stock for sale or trade? I'm looking for 3/4"x3/4"; 1/8" thickness stock. Please let me know if you have a little leftover I can get. It will save me from havby NLightNMe - Wanted
Hey, thanks for the scan of your invoice. I have put in an almost identical order to McMaster and your info made it easy.by NLightNMe - Reprappers
Hi Everyone, Just thought I'd introduce myself since I'm just getting started. My name is Rudye and I'm in Tucson, AZ. I bought some pipe and angle aluminum this week to start a McWire build. I bought 1/16" aluminum angle because I found it at the local reclaim lot. Anyone know why the instructions say "1/8" highly recommended"? I guess it was originally done with 1/16" since that is in theby NLightNMe - Reprappers
