Yes the motor replacements sound fine. And based on your statement that your wiring is correct, then it seems your x-axis stepper driver went out. I have a rambo-mini where my extruder stepper just died. It still works, but it has a strange high pitch whine and i don't think it's working quite right. You are correct that theoretically you could swap the marlin firmware code and use the other extby BioLumo - Controllers
Quotebean11 Hi All, I just picked up a Lulz bot mini (i've been dying without a printer since i got rid of my bukobot) and wanted to add the full graphics lcd smart controller to it so that I can print from an sd card and adjust things without my pc. I'm running to an issue where the pin pitch for the p1 and p2 headers on the Mini Rambo board is to fine. every picture I find shows that the twoby BioLumo - Controllers
I'm having a similar issue with my Mini-Rambo board as well. Mine is a homebuilt Lulzbot Mini. Anyway, the extruder was working fine, except today when i had a failed print.but not as expected. It seems the extruder gear was not moving well and had a kind of jerky motion to it so it was not extruding correctly. I figured it was probably the little gear that was loose and i think it was a littleby BioLumo - Stepper Motors, Servo Motors, DC Motors
Not in the market just yet, but i was told to try posting here. Is there anyone who is U.S. based that is selling delta fisher printers? I was watching reprappro enthusiastically, but they recently seem to have shut down. Mostly just seeing if anyone responds for now.by BioLumo - Fisher
Quotedc42 The Fisher uses some specialist hot end and laser cut acrylic parts, some printed parts, and a bunch of standard components including ground rods, linear bearings and Duet electronics. Emakershop has some of the specialist Fisher parts. The rest should not be hard to source. The original Fisher used a 19V power supply, but you can use 12V or 24V instead for compatibility with standard hby BioLumo - Wanted
I'm not in the market for one of these just yet, mostly just casting a line and seeing if anything bites. But i'm interested in the future in getting a RepRap Fisher Delta printer from someone in the U.S. It's so new that i haven't seen any offered anywhere. Especially since i just learned RepRapPro shop in the U.K. has closed down.by BioLumo - Wanted
I've now posted mine on Thingiverse: It's still untested as of now, but i'm fairly sure it will work. Any feedback is welcome.by BioLumo - General
I found this on thingiverse and he said that the PLA has held up very well: I'm currently designing my own leadscrew nut for a printer that uses 10mm threads. I haven't tested it yet, but the CAD model is here for now if you'd like to take a look at it: Edit: My version i'm not sure if the thread size is right as the hole looks much bigger than it should, but as an update the guy from Thingiby BioLumo - General
QuoteDejayI want to build a larger scale coreXY printer sometimes in the future (about 600 to 1000mm width, depending on feasibility) and would like to use aluminium extrusions for the carriage because of reduced weight, costs and increased stiffness compared to steel rods. I'm currently in the process of building my own 2ft x 2ft (about 600mm x 600mm) custom 3D printer from scratch. I've neverby BioLumo - Extruded Aluminum Frames
