QuoteDust A standard ramps 1.4 is 12v only! You need to make modifications to the board. see Luckly just making the bed work on 24v volts is easy. I recomend a exernal mosfet and a 24v supply If you run a 24v heated bed on 12v it will barly get warn. Hey Sir, Now i have: 1- RAMPS 1.4 2- Power Supply 24V 3- Heat bed 24V (Ender-3) 4- Extruder Kit Direct Drive (24V) 5- Mosfet can support 24Vby EzyMan - RAMPS Electronics
Hello there, As i read ramps 1.4 is running 12V ( so power supply should be 12V or 12V) and ia it ok to run ramps 1.4 on 360W 24V. LAST question: I used ender 3 heared bed for my custom 3d peinter and its 24V. Whats the risk if i run it on 12Vby EzyMan - RAMPS Electronics

Quotepiper3d QuoteEzyMan Power Input (W): 100 Length of Plate (mm): 800 Width of Plate (mm): 800 .. For that size, you want a 1kW heater, not 0.1kW, unless you are fine on waiting 1 or 2 hours for print bed to heat to 55C. In general (no offense) looks like you do not know what you are doing. You may go either: 1. experience way - start with a smaller printer like 300x300, 2. or knowledge waby EzyMan - General

QuoteOhmarinus Definitely go for a 24v setup or you'll be in an elderly home before the bed is heated up. xD Thanks man much appreciated. Do you have suggested power supplies?by EzyMan - General
Quotethe_digital_dentist Here's a calculator that will tell you how long it will take to heat the bed based on its construction and the power applied: You can have a custom heater made to fit that size bed- Keenovo will do it for a reasonable upcharge over their off-the-shelf stuff.
