I think you need to start at the beginning and verify all connections and go through their setup and initialization/calibration procedures. GeeeTech also has a forum which would be a better place to ask questions caused by problems with their hardware. Search for "ERR: MINTEMP" on the forum.by rhmorrison - Repetier
According to the wiring diagram on the GT2560 Geeetech Wiki page you have the hotend plugged into Extruder 2 (or the hotbed connector instead of Extruder 1). Make sure that the hotbed is plugged into the middle connector and the hotend cable into the bottom connector (in your picture where no wires are connected).by rhmorrison - Repetier

What electronics board is your printer using?by rhmorrison - Repetier
3 Ω @ 12 vdc = 48 watts power (should be enough). You don't measure the heating block you measure the DC voltage going to the heating cartridge. One side is connected to ground the other to the output of the FET that is driven by the E0 output of the board.by rhmorrison - Repetier
Quotewilliamr Although you can't cut at a specific Z directly you can either see by looking from the top at a specific angle or edit the gcode directly using Tools>Edit and remove some GCode to erase the top of the print to see as you would see during a print => then indeed you can see that it's a slicing issue because the infill is really dense. But I'm sure there exists tools that allowsby rhmorrison - Slic3r

You need to get down to basics. There is a pin that that is attached to the heating cartridge. When output is 12vdc it heats, when output is 0vdc it does not heat. Also the heating cartridge must have a finite resistance. MEASURE THE RESISTENCE. If ~0 Ω or ~ infinite (millions) Ω then your heating cartridge is defective. If it has a low Ω value say 2 - 8 Ω it is probably OK, then you need to seeby rhmorrison - Repetier

So your hotend comes completely assembled and is supposed to have a 30 watt, 12vdc heating element. Is the heating element on constantly? Does the firmware (FW) perhaps have a MAXTEMP defined?by rhmorrison - Repetier
Hmmm... It is difficult to recommend anything without more information. What hot end are you using? For example, the E3D has become a very popular hot end and it comes with heater cartridges for 12vdc and 24vdc. If you are running 12vdc but have a 24vdc heater cartridge then this would never get hot enough (although it should get up to ~50°C).by rhmorrison - Repetier

Measure the resistence of your heating element. It should be 6-8 ohms for 12vdc, 3-4 ohms for 24vdc. What voltage are you driving it at? I assume 12vdc.by rhmorrison - Repetier
I see nothing wrong with the generated support material. But if you want a better print orient it as defined in the original STL file then less support will be needed.by rhmorrison - Slic3r
