Hi. I have reached the point of construction, where it says I have to drill a pilot hole for the "screw of the servo bag". Does anyone have, by chance, a detailed photo of that screw and the hole to be drilled? There are two small screws there inside, and one very small screw. Correct? Which one to use, the smallest one? What servo is that blue item, by the way? I assume, it is not a Z probe seby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Thanks. That helped me. :-)by Sven.L - Delta Machines
I just know, that I downloaded it from the so-called "Google Drive" on 31. July 2015, and that it was the latest version then. When checking the manual you are mentioning, I am seeing that it shows metal parts where my own printer (Kossel) has black plastic parts. My own manual shows black plastic parts, too. But besides, no, my kit seems to be without that Z servo. The mentioning in the instruby Sven.L - Delta Machines

Okay, thanks for the good advises and explanations. As you can see, I now moved the jumper from unnecessary extruder E1 to the missing slot of extruder E0. that should be correct now, right? But the instructions (page 23 of the PDF: the "note") also tell me to mount a jumper for the triple slot of the auto level servo. Am I correct? The board does not have any jumper installed, nor seems to beby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Hi, I think, there are really some jumpers missing on my RAMP board, please have a look at my photos and verify that, if I am correct. My apologies for the poor quality of these photos, my mobile phone camera just cannot do better photos at close distance. While most jumpers are in place, one of the jumpers at the bottom seems to be missing (green circle), and a triple jumper in the callout onby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Thanks, Paul Delta. Is this the case with everyone: that the jumpers were already mounted on the RAMP board when receiving the printer set? Can that be confirmed? Or are there people who had to mount the jumpers on their own? In this case, where were the jumpers when you received your printer set?by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Hi, after a long time, it's me again. :-) the instruction PDF calls for three jumpers to be put on the RAMPS board. But ... where can I find those three jumpers? Inside which bag were they when you got your printers, people? Any photo available of the package they were in? In case they are missing of what I got, what kind of jumpers are these (so I can hopefully purchase them somewhere)? Thankby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Rattfink, can you give me a URL for your hexagonal extruder? Thanks. How many microns is the printing resolution of the Kossel 2020? Who knows?by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Thanks a lot! :-Dby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Question: if I keep the rods long as they are now as delivered (Kossel 2020), without using the saw to cut them shorter, what printing area would I have, by diameter and height? Who can do these mathematics for me? Or, at least, provide me with the correct mathematical formulas so I can calculate by myself. Would be appreciated. Thanks.by Sven.L - Delta Machines

TheViseAd. thanks. It's about the heat bed? Do you have an e-mail for him? I am not located in the USA, that's why.by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Thanks, König and DC42! :-) What are the largest round heat beds available? I saw one with a diameter of 33 cm. Anything larger out there? DC, can you post URLs for the items you purchased for the modified printer in your blog? I see some but not all. And what were the prices for the various items? What you did, is exactly the same thing I have in mind for my printer. But I also want to place mby Sven.L - Delta Machines
What are the parts I need to exchange, if I want to increase the print area in all three axises? One is the aluminum extruders. Another one are the rods. What else? Thanks.by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Yes, now it works! If you want to ensure that the grip of the T-nuts to the aluminum parts is really firm, then do this: Before using the bolts and T-nuts, use a sharp knife and lower that area of the black plastic below where the T-nuts later will be, just a little bit. See the photo. Do this for each area below a T-nut, (and that applies to the assemblies of the upper and lower corners). Thby Sven.L - Delta Machines
To achieve more tension of the T-nuts towards the aluminum parts, I try now to lower with the help of a sharp knife the black plastic where the bolt for the T-nut comes out. This way, the T-nut should have more pressure and grip on the aluminum parts. I hope.by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Surprising Discovery! As I mentioned before, after mounting the aluminum extrusions of the top and bottom corner are still loose. Today, I glided them open carefully a bit, and found out to my bewilderness, that the t-nuts are firm and solidly fixed to the black plastic with their bolts. And still, the aluminum parts (on two of the three corners) are moving. HELP! Even worse, I am still not ablby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Ahhhh, thevisad, you take away the sensitive boar from the heat bed. I was thinking about the same thing, too. But first I have to finish building my printer. My idea is, to put the board to the very top. Basically, to exchange the bottom with the top. Just to have the heat bed alone still remaining at the bottom. And I also want to use, after I started to use my printer, longer aluminum parts,by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Hi. No, I use the M3-8mm bolts. These 8mm bolts are the shortest ones. But how many M3-8mm bolts are used up for the construction? Who can answer? I need to know, in order to understand how many spare bolts of that type I have. Thanks. :-Dby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Hi. The T-nuts are all fitting, I made sure that. mentioned it before. :-) I just think, because the nuts are made of cheap and too soft metal, it is not possible to really fasten them good enough. I will try to replace them with nuts of a better quality. But my question now is, how many M3-8mm bolts are required for the construction of the Kossel 2020?by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Thanks for the two good and helpful advises. I will try to get both items you two mentioned. QUESTION How many of these M3x8mm botls are actually needed for the construction?by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Hey, and it's me again! With the next problem: Instruction: Base and Top Corners Slide the 300mm aluminum extrusion on to the T-Nuts, tighten the screws from the other side, the T-Nuts will swivel and lock in place. Alrite, done. I tightened the bolts as much as possible, and as far as I was able to ensure when sliding the aluminum extrusion into the right place, the T-nuts are all at the rightby Sven.L - Delta Machines
Thanks. Banning: hope the staff recognizes something is wrong.by Sven.L - Delta Machines
Situation: The instruction document mentions a 7/8 (= 0.875) inch blue painter's tape. But that size is not sold in my country. The only similar size I can purchase here, is the 0.94 inch blue painter's tape. Can this diameter work, or not? Who can assist me with the answer? Thanks. PS: why is the word "melborP" (read backwards) banned?by Sven.L - Delta Machines
TheVisad, thanks for the URL. I was asking for it, because there is for me an uncertainity inside the manual, in regards to the mounting of the top frame. I wanted to make sure, I have the latest manual. having it now, my problems are solved (at least for now). Still hoping, someone can put photos here of all different hardware types and their naming, that would allow me to know, what is what.by Sven.L - Delta Machines
I would need a URL where to download the latest version of the Build Manual (PDF). And if anyone can supply an image (photo) of each kind of hardware that was included for this printer? That would make it easier to identify each of the bolts, nuts, washers and such. Thanks a lot!by Sven.L - Delta Machines
