3D model manufacturing

The model manufacturing process encompass these phases:

• design/acquiring models in some software and representation
• convert the model description/data to another representation (almost always .stl format)
• 3D print them out on RepRap - workflow:
  • Prepress
  • Slicing
  • Machine control
  • Firmware choice (5D, Sprinter...)

and

• Optional: Improvement to the model description
