Talk:Mendel parts more info
Jkeegan 23:39, 7 December 2009 (UTC) - This might be covered elsewhere, but it might be worth listing the required dimensions of each part (max length, width, height, in the default orientation of the piece), for those people printing on different size beds. For example, do all of these pieces print on the 4x4 print area of a MakerBot Cupcake in their original orientations, or in any orientation at all? For instance, I tried printing the x-carriage-lower_1off.par file on a MakerBot that I'm using as a RepStrap and it didn't seem to fit on the 4"x4" bed (at least not in its initial orientation, which seemed to have the right side of the following picture on the bottom).. That part is shown in the middle here:

but not in the main list below. Are the models changing?
There are errors in some of the STL-files.
See: http://dev.forums.reprap.org/read.php?4,28979
Broken files are: - y-bearing-180-inner_2off.stl - y-bearing-180-outer-left_1off.stl - y-bearing-180-outer-right_1off.stl
Also the file circuit-board-spacer-m4_2off.stl is missing in the tarball.
the image of x-carriage-lower is wrong too.
