In May 2014, the citizen-driven laboratory Hirikilabs with Tabakalera and DSS2016, opens a new call for open projects where we presented the project for a DLP 3D printer codenamed Eraikizpi. Hirikilabs accept and sponsor our project. In addition they subsidize us the prototype and allows us to use their facilities and machinery for the purpose of the project.
Eraikizpi v2 employs a vat of liquid ultraviolet curable photopolymer "resin" that hardens by the light emitted from a DLP projector (Digital Light Processing).
