Description of method

We want to post process the plastics that have been deposited with a laser.

perimeter post processing

With a laser we want to follow the perimeter of the printed layer, per layer, and fuse it to the previous layer making:

  • Better layer adhesion
  • Smooth outside look and feel of the printed product

parts post process

  • We want to melt the top layer plastic with a laser to make it completely smooth.
  • We want to melt the top layer plastic with a laser to " etch" in the top layer.
