Huge congratulations for this manual. Looks like you determined my next project that I'll be doing with that mess of ft parts over there. --heiko

Hello Peter
Hello Peter!
Thanks for the photographs of your copy of the FTIStrap - I just uploaded the pictures again (from the FT Community to this wiki site) and added the required links into the wiki source. You (and everybody else) should now be able to see them!
Greetings to the Netherlands!

source for parts
What is the best way of getting the parts? The page mentions that the parts-list is modified "(to be able to order "bags" with many parts rather than having to order every kind of item individually). " What bags would be needed? Where to get them best in Germany/EU? (I tried the fischertechnik-shop but the first item I looked for (the stepper-motors) did not show up.) --User:MarcusWolschon 07:49, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Well, currently, there are only "bags" (Teilebeutel) for the steppers - they contain all the special parts needed to mount the steppers to a fischertechnik model. Several weeks ago, I had some contact with the Fischer Werke where they even briefly thought of making a kit out of the FTIStrap, but due to the voltage used (240V) and the high temperature of the hot-melt gun the printer would have to be considerably modified before...
In short: unfortunately, you will have to order the parts individually for the moment. In case of difficulties, try to contact Ralf Knobloch directly: he saw the FTIStrap and promised to make the parts available...
Greetings,
