I've made some updates to this page, and I'm hoping to go and get some outside sources later on. Lubrication is pretty important, as is knowing what sorts will have a good effect. More reports from working machines would be nice.

There's a mention that PTFE lubricants are good for linear bearings/linear rods, but the page on linear bearings says PTFE is no good. Which is it? --Shitbastard (talk) 12:22, 26 July 2020 (EDT)

--- According to this link, PTFE (and other dry lubricants) should not be used on linear bearings because it does not perform well with rolling friction. --B4ndit (talk) 10:34, 27 July 2020 (EDT)
