Retraction issues

I think it may be difficult to get rid of backlash from the screw mountings when retracting unless it is rigidly coupled to the motor shaft. Even then the axial load is transferred to the motor bearings which are not specifically intended for end loading but could work if there was no play in the screw drive set-up.
