Superadobe House Printer

This is a hacked together idea to build a printer that makes houses out of dirt. If you like this idea, check out what I do to pay my bills: www.arcologynow.com

Superadobe is a tube of dirt. There are tubes of material used to make sandbags. People take these tubes and fill them with dirt and then lay them out in rows. They put barbed wired in between the rows to stabilize them. It even looks like a freaking 3D printed house with really big tubes of plastic, but it's dirt as in 'dirt cheap'. It can also be pumped by a cement pump.

So I want to build a super huge printer to make them. The design will be based off of Nicholas Sewards Reprap Simpson.

We're going to scale it up, make it out of aluminum truss work and power it with hydraulics. The head will fill the adobe dirt tubes and lay down barbed wire between the rows.

We're going to power it off power cubes from Open Source Ecology. We're going to modify their compressed earth brick press too. Instead of making bricks we are going to mount a cement pump on the bottom of it and fill it with a life trac. Then print houses out of dirt!

Help out. All are welcome.
