five designs which you consider to be partcularly: 1. useful: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43762 Useful because being able to find the right size part is good. It could be imporved on by having a thread count thing so you could find the internal diameter and thread count and sort based on that as well.

2. artistic/beautiful: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39247 I am a decent fan of MC Escher and i think this work is a pretty cool open source tribute to him.

3. pointless/useless: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43728 This could be extremely annoying and I dont like it.

4. funny/weird: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43536 Who would even use this?

5. scary/strange: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:36110 People love printing skulls and this one that has no mouth is really weird.

B} Do you feel that you are a tinkerer? Do you know anyone else who is? What do you think about the argument regarding the influence of corporate culture on tinkering? At the end of the article is the line, "...preserving the habitat of the tinkerer is one of the few time-proven ways we as a nation can get back on track." What do you think about this idea? What are the primary design principles you took away from the interview? What did you think when you saw his final project with his daughter? Can you think of how some of his principles might apply to our work?

I am definitely a tinkererer, and I think it important to who I am and how I go about doing things. Corporate culture is not for tinkering, because in and of itself, tinkering is not a very useful or productive entity. Very few useful things come about by tinkering, having a methodologial approach to discovery and invention is much better in terms of results.
