Dear Johnnyr,
Welcome to RepRap.
Wow, the RAMPS looks really useful. Thank you for sharing it with us.
p.s.: What kind of toolhead did you use to hold the Sharpie when you made file:rampslabels.jpg? Or is that extremely neat manual hand writing? --DavidCary 14:35, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
Thanks David.
I threw http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3526 together and used it to hold the pen. It works decently, but I would like to have means for higher resolution. --Johnnyr 16:43, 5 December 2010 (CDT)
Dear Johnnyr,
I used your photo of a RAMPS board as an example on the Automated_Circuitry_Making#Ink_Resist page.
What pen(s) and toolhead(s) have you tested for making the traces on a PCB? Perhaps you could say a few words about your process in the "pen holder" section of plotting#Pen_holder. --DavidCary 13:42, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
(Upload log); 20:14 . . Johnnyr (Talk | contribs | block) uploaded "File:RAMPSmanual.pdf" (For now a PDF with the schematic and board views from Eagle. Should be expanded to a concise assembly and use manual.) ...? Johhnyr, it may be silly to double-document RAMPS in a pdf as well as a wiki. :D --Sebastien Bailard 21:00, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Sebastien: I think you are right. We started including those two documents into packages to aid assembly as requested by users. But I am not interested in having to do any documentation twice. I will just move the pdf file into the source package. Want to delete the RAMPSmanual.pdf page for me, please?
Thanks Johnny, love the Rambo board and the great service you continue to provide at Ultimachine, much appreciated. -papabur
