3.1 - What about Governmental intervention? Could you envision a prohibition on unlicensed 3D printing?

3.3 - What about 'ending IP' by creating a more useful method of profiting from your developments. Can you imagine anyone being well known (and subsequently well paid) for their designs because of what they had already distributed freely for others to print out?

2.1 - Okay, but how far might we try to go? Chips are hard, but replacing nuts and motors isn't out of the realm of possibility. (or at least people are trying)
