Liquid resin or other polymer curing machines have a different set of mechanical constraints. Often simple with a need for somewhat higher step resolution due to the thinness of the cured layer of resin.
They may grow up or down and usually have a single Z axis stage. They may incorporate a mechanical release mechanism and some will have a (galvanometer) scanning system while others will have a image projection system such as a DLP projector.
Resolutions can be higher but consumable costs tend to be higher as well. Build envelopes are typically smaller.
